    Yeah, I've always like the look of them. I really like the set forward axle ones. But it wouldn't turn heads like your R model Paul. Just found the actual figures for last year. Mack was fourth highest with 981 sold, and it's an increase of 10%.

    According to sales figures kw is number one. I think mack are a few spots down but last I heard their sales were increasing. I don't think kw will ever lose its spot down here.

    6 or 7 different drivers in it per week. That will test the macks build quality.

    The kit superdog mentioned looks good. You still have the beam for good articulation and traction but the added comfort of air bags.

    So is it a digital odometer? In my kw, my odometer was blinking on and off. I found a new odometer display on eBay to fix it. Not sure if you could do the same for yours.

    Don't get me wrong, I love females.... But am yet to find one who will admit she is wrong.

    I wouldn't consider gearbox problems to make a truck unrepairable. That term is normally reserved for accident damaged vehicles.

    I think cat would have more success if it wasnt for the new designed engines. The old c-15 was a good engine, but the acert has poor fuel economy, under powered and unreliable. I've often wondered wether the c-15 would of passed the emissions test it it had scr?

    Cat truck sales in Aus has been pretty poor, and I don't think this truck will change anything.

    Nice job. If the imperfections bother ya too much, maybe some scroll work might draw the eye away from them?

    I can't speak for any of the other brands, but we get double coins in Australia. My mate runs them on his drive and we have some on our trailers. All in all, they are a good tyre and give us no dramas.

    What rears do you have currently? I know with eaton and rockwell you can get cross locks as well as interaxle diff lock. That would help lots. Some other guys might shed more light on the mack rears regarding cross locks or something similar.

    I'm pretty sure rto eaton are single overdrive. Where the rtlo are double. I can't talk for every eaton, but I looked at a single overdrive rto 13 and the overdrive was .86 and the rtlo is .87 in 13/17th and .73 in top. With .73 od and 4.42 you should have 1700rpm at 100km/60m.
