  1. Came across this one (not literally) on the net. Thought you fella's might like it too.
  2. I like the red/maroon colour.
  3. Russia lost a lot of men in the war, so I guess it must be a big day of rememberance for your country. Have a nice day Vlad.
  4. Truck looks great. Almost didn't think it was the same one. I agree with going two tone.
  5. Sounds to me like you want it to perform as it should? What boost you getting? Maybe look for any leaks. Also is your throttle linkage worn?
  6. Welcome aboard matey! Enjoy the ride! P.S. I like your mack.
  7. Glad you had a good day out Tim. Bit of R and R always helps to recharge the batteries. Have you been to any wineries there yet? N.Z. do some great whites.
  8. I dug a hole once... It was too small so I had to dig another one.
  9. Wow, that's a nice B! I guess new trucks have their place, but I bet in 40 years not many people will be restoring the current breeds.
  10. I like what I'm seeing. Everything is very clean and tidy. I did my breakes and bearings at the start of the year. My drums were good, but everything including hubs were replaced. I notice that you have 3 tapered leaf set up. Is that common over there? does it ride well?
  11. Is that a cool power? I like it, something cool to do if you have an otherwise useless bonnet.
  12. That looks really neat... Can't wait too see more as it progresses.
  13. I've been looking at some new gauges for my truck. My fuel gauge has no needle so this is first on my list. I'd like to state I'm not electronically minded. But a lot of different fuel gauges have different ohms. What do I need for my mack or doesn't it matter?
  14. What's the model number ken? Is it an R722?
  15. Thanks Paul. At least there are no hidden problems. As far as man hours, the guy had it all worked out on a bit of paper. Only he had the hours converted in to dollars. I'll double check him when I drop it off. He should have it completed in 2 weeks. Always the case, I have a job for it in about 2weeks so he will take longer.
  16. Last picture before it goes in to get repaired.
  17. If you buy a load share kit from the Internet then they are designed to run with you current springs and don't use a levelling value, rather a regulator mounted inside the cab. If you were to make your own then you can be a bit creative, but I wouldn't start removing springs without professional advice.
  18. There is an Aussie company called Howard instruments. Give them a call, they can restore your gauges. Often the case is now days it's cheaper to buy new ones, but it sure would be worth a phone call.
  19. I don't think they will raise it much. For instance, if a truck with good springs and good ride height used them it would make it too high. Take the truck to a wheel alignment place and get them to put packers in between the spring and axle. If you do go with the load share front air bags I would love to hear your thoughts on them as I've been thinking of trying them out.
  20. Is that an 8 bag set up? I have driven coe's with 8 bag and they still kick like a mule. A 4 bag set up with a wide spread is better in my opinion.
  21. Nice truck, cool colour! They like their Macks down in the apple Isle?
  22. That looks great. Very neat, and by looking at them pics very professionally done!
  23. Found a 1/4 inch air line running from the bottom of park brake lever. It is activated when the brakes are released. So I'm guessing this would be the air line I need to run reversing valve off. Only problem is its connected to this valve. Does anyone know what this valve is for? I could just put a T piece in this line, but want to try keep it how mack originally done it.
  24. Ok, I checked again. The air line on the front of the reversing valve is always charged with air. Regardless of what position my park brake lever is.
