Nah. Apparently Mack made about 50 of them with e7’s. They were both R788’s, instead of 722’s.

My dad has had two v8 valueliners, and both of them were 6 cylinders! 🤪

Doolans I think is one of the bigger ones remaining. McAleese is now Rivet but not sure if they are doing heavy haul. They seem more interested in tippers.

That’s the Gascoyne river. It would stay like that most times, and will only start flowing after heavy rain. Maybe 2 to 3 months a year it would flow. Although it has remained dry for several years during dry times

Japan also. With the exception of South Africa and India and another dot in the map I don’t recognise, most countries that drive on the left are islands. Funny rule here in Aus, if your car is over a certain age (30 years I think) you can legally drive LHD. Although personally I’d hate to, overtaking would be a nightmare with a passenger. -
A year or so ago there was a Mack built for (I think) a Malaysian sultan or something along them lines. That’s the only one that pops in to my head immediately. It was quite impressive and I believe is the most expensive Mack to be built in Australia.

I like the winch. I would of loved to have put one on mine but funds didn’t allow for it. But I did cut a hole in the vertical part of the deck which should allow me to drag stuff up with the back of my truck should I need too.

I got a question swishy, when you drop the top deck down to load something, how do you keep the dirt off the skid plate?

My brother has inquired about egr deletes and was told that it cracks the head. Which to me is strange because it’s essentially the same engine as an isx. Two guys have said the same thing, one a Cummins trained guy, and another well respected mechanic.

Paul, I have a solution for you. Just do all your over size road training at night. I mean, your going to jail anyway... may as well make it worthwhile.

Paul, we took an over size road train from Mittagong to port hedland. And we most definitely broke it up in nsw. It’s a no no in that state. Qld is fine though.

I’ve wanted to put these on my kw for a while. Apparently they improve the ride, and I sit on top of the front axle so any improvement would be handy.

Wasn’t there a thing where speed limited tricks could do 100, and non speed limited trucks only 90? I’m thinking nsw back in the 90’s. The road train limit varies state to state. I know WA they can do 100 and pretty sure SA too. -
