  9. Well that's what I was thinking, and thinking always gets me in trouble, was going to run it in my excavators and backhoe to help with fuel costs and if I had problems, at least they would be off road. Probably have to pack an extra lunch with the smell of fried food on every job site. LOL
  10. Does anyone here change cooking oil into fuel? I have a steady supply of cooking oil that I dump right into my waste oil tank and heat my garage with but would like to start making fuel oil, even if I run it in my machines, it would help easy the pain at the pump. I don't need a big system, I get around 50 gallon a month, could probably get more if I want it.
  11. It states that it was available with single tires only on all axles, that must have been odd to see.
  12. I have a 1977 Rogers 40 ton lowboy I am looking to sell, also have a 1988 superliner I might consider selling, but both need work. The lowboy only needs a deck and paint, everything else is in good condition. Cross beams and side rails were replaced and are in good condition. $10,000 as is. The superliner needs to be completed. have almost everything needed. E-6 400 with a 9 spd. double frame in very nice condition on neway air ride. Runs and drives but not road ready. You can call me if interested. Mike 570-436-1600
  13. Are there any of these B's still around? Don't remember seeing any in tri-drive. Would be nice to see one that was original. What kind of suspension did they use?
  14. Is there anyway to tell from the vin if they are a magnum? Mine has the red interior, V-8. Do not know the original color of my truck.
  15. Just stock on the seats. I asked my guy about pressing them in over spec., and he didn't know anything about it. His concern was the heads were know for cracking and he though that it would put more stress on the heads. But I'm sure it works, Dale does it so I'm sure it's been tested. Dale is the one that built my turbo. Have not had any problems with heads bolts but I don't run a lot of miles.
  16. Just put mine back together today. Was not getting the boost that I should have (only 38 where as the turbo I put on should get 50) So I pressurized the intake from the turbo (including the turbo) to the heads. Backed off on the rocker shafts so all the valves were closed (time to reset the valves anyway) and found number one cylinder was leaking air somewhere. So decided to pull the head to find out what was going on and found one of the intake seats was loose causing the valve to move around (bad) but good that I caught it. Just happened to have a spare head at the machine shop getting redone and it was ready the next day. Funny thing is the head that went bad was the only head on the truck that was the old style valves (bigger stems) Now all the heads are the same size valve stems. Dodged a bullet.
