  1. Sad indeed for a 100 year old company. The current story is much larger than was published in Double Clutch but I hope you enjoyed what they put together. The editor did not use everything that I sent to him and they made some rearrangements that I had no control or discussion about. It will be interesting to see how the much larger version appears in the WOT. Best regards, John
  2. Yes, I have Skype and I do read your blog from time to time. Did you ever get your computer display problems sorted out?? Best regards, John
  3. No problems-fast as usual. Best regards, John
  4. Run a current virus scan on your computer with the latest version available. The display problem seems strange-also check your display settings from the "Control Panel". Let me know. Best regards, John
  5. Is there any chance that you could find some better pictures of that truck for me? I am working on a project and some more photos would really help. Thanks in advance. John
  6. I suggest you approach the Mack Museum in Allentown, PA. They have build records of every Mack truck built so once you have the build record, you'll know who ordered the truck, what options it had and what it was going to be used for. Best of luck.
  7. Paul: I also like the idea of having the complete history of a truck. Once the history with photos are put together into a kind of storyboard along with some aspect of the restoration, it gives the vehicle a life of its own and it's something that makes quite an impact on those folks who grew up seeing and listening to those trucks and drivers. Best of luck! John
  8. Gentlemen: Thank you for your comments and encouragement. I apologize for the delay in replying to your posts but I am currently on a business trip in Japan. A large typhoon is passing to the east of Tokyo so God knows when I'll get out of here. I need some help to find additional info on the Procter Co and the B-813SX. Unfortunately, when the company closed its doors and the auction had finished, all of the papers, photos, contracts etc were thrown in a dumpster. If you know of anyone with some info, I will chase down all leads. Send me an email or call 800-495-1678 24/7 and leave a message. You can also send me a fax at 716-774-8708. Best regards, John
