  1. The more comprehensive dash has extra gauges (mine has Mack rubber blanks where the diff and transmission temps usually sit in a Superliner dash), more switches and bright round idiot lights everywhere.
  2. The 2 trucks that I looked at would've been in sight of each other going through the production line as they are only about 20 apart on their chassis numbers but looks like I scored the optioned up truck. Both trucks had the same 9" double rail chassis of the same length. The truck I passed up has been changed to an 18sp Roadranger as you can see but both left the factory with the Mack 12sp. This is my dash which reminds me of our Superliners we built over here. This is the basic Valueliner dash.
  3. I had a toss up between 2 trucks when I bought the one above. The one I passed up had 44's fitted but were listed by Mack as SS440. Note the single trunion on the torque rod on the SS440 and the double trunion on the SS441 along with panhard rod. Obviously not all 44's are created equal. My truck is also specced with a mechanical E7 400 vs the other truck with a E6 350. I also managed to score what looks like a Superliner dash as well vs the plainer R model Valueliner dash. A few other things like a chassis brace near the steering box make it a well specced truck from the factory.

  5. This is my first time posting so I hope everything works out okay. Can anyone tell me anything about this set up? The diffs are listed on my Mack's build list as SS441 but I've never seen a panhard rod set up like this on Camelback. The truck is an aussie built heavy spec 1990 R model Valueliner with a mechanical E7 400 and 12 speed with the previously mentioned 44's @ 4.42 shown in the images. It was set up as a logging prime mover for most of it's life so the panhard rod may have been a latter addition for strength or durability perhaps?
