I have a TRXL1070 6 speed that has a .62 overdrive. 22.5 tires with a 5.73 ratio gives it 72 mph at 2100 rpm

I have driven home with a blown hose. It didn't hurt the pump. Drove it @ 150 miles. Would I suggest you drive with no oil? NO. However, like they have said, keep oil in it and you will be just fine -

Just remember when you put those rims that there is a notch in the brake drum for the valve stem to sit in. Isnt much clearance in there -
I did the same thing with a load of cows. When it stooped sliding I said PHEW!! But it was short lived because the cows kept moving which caused the truck and trailer to slide more. That was when I got really nervous
