Has to many frills for UPS. Bullet cab lights, MACK on the grill, Sleeper, tandem and a 9 spd. Not bad money for the old girl

When I pulled the drain plug in oil pan I found 1 side of a valve keeper. Truck just cam in from an 1,400 mile run and sounds good. Do I start by pulling rocker covers or just plan on pulling heads? Would like to find out which head its from. Im just discouraged at the moment

Thanks for all the input! Im the only driver, its a summer truck. I have an 85 MH for the winter time. ! question I forgot to ask. What is the overdrive ratio of a 12 spd? Do they make different overdrives?

LOL. OK OK. You guys sold me. Yes its for the Cruiseliner and yes its 1 stick. By the way, I had a gentlemen call me who claims he use to own a 2 stick Cruiseliner. How could that be possible?

Found a Mack 12 speed for sale. Have been told that drivers either love them or hate them. I have never driven one. Truck has E9 and is a road tractor that doesn't haul heavy. I have also heard that 12 speed parts are scarce. What do you folks suggest?

The suspension height was 2 in to high. Wrong driveline angle was the culprit in the case of our 3 trucks

Just went thru this with the leased milk trucks. They kept insisting it was clutch or tires. I kept bringing them back saying its driveline. The same symptons you are describing. @ months later the dealer finally says "the drive line was out by 2 in." Just something you may want to look into

It amounts to about a 4 to 5 mph difference at 60 mph.

Mack says the tach cable for my truck is "Obsolete". Any ideas where I can get one? I really need the housing as well as the cable. Thanks

Also I think that green plow truck is "Scani" power. Great for plowing, not enough engine to spin the tires -
How many guys out there today ever drove a 1693? That is an impressive engine as well. Just got back from Pa with my E9. Did @ 6.1 mpg. And still going fine

I ended up buying a small condenser for an R model that fit under the aftercooler. That's the only place there was ANY room.

Just a thought. Check the pins in the clevis to make sure they are free. I've had that happen more than once. The pins cease then the brakes take a while to back off.
