  1. I did get the frame with the heater motors out. FYI. There are 2 screws down low in the front of box that hold duct work together. Now all I need to do is get the squirrel cage off the motor shaft. Allready have the set screw out and sprayed shaft with PB blaster. Keep you updated if you like
  2. Just remember with the older 13 spds you don't want to shift the splitter and the lever at the same time when shifting up. You get caught in "double neutral". It's ok to do when down shifting. You will do it a few times then you will decide its not worth stopping to start over at the bottom
  3. You folks remember the truck-n-trailer sitting on top of the oil tanks in Fultonville, Ny? There were 2 stuffed characters in the cab. Snowbunnie and fluffie? Thruway mafia made the truckstop take it down.
  4. I miss the Green Shingle on I90 just west of Erie, Pa. That was a great stop. The American Travel plaza in Frystown use to be one of my hang outs. Sad to see that the Flying crook aka, Pilot took over. just isn't the same
  5. The front fan never works and the wiring to it is melted. Im gonna try again here in a min. It's cold out there and the wind is hollowing.
  6. I have the seat and cover off. I was wondering about the frame with the two motors in it. You answered my other question, my feet will be cold when driving it.
  7. Ok, I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed BUT. How do you remove the heater motor from an MH? Do they come out together as one unit? If so how do unhook the duct work?
  8. Only happens when I use the brake pedal. And not all the time. I was told there is another relay valve in the system under the cab. I haven't found it yet. As my "garage" is my driveway and it colder than zippe doo I haven't been as patient as I should be. They say we're in for a heat wave today, maybe as high as 25. I'll try some more today
  9. I oiled the pedal valve. The plunger moves free. Only does it with a trailer on. Doesn't matter what trailer either.
  10. I started using my MH. Brakes don't always release when I take my foot off the pedal. Doesn't happen all the just most of the time. I replaced the Tractor Protection valve. What next? The treddle valve?
  11. Wow. I thought my moving up a model would mean easier parts availability. It's a pain in the you know what when you cant find the parts you need. Glad my MH didn't sell now that im using it
  12. The retainer clip goes over the top part of air bag to hold it in place. Slip says replaces part # 97AX286. $1.15
  13. Ya know. with all that chrome & paint you would think they would have at least put bullet cab lights on it
  14. Update on airbag. Part # 25498332. They are smaller than the bags I took out. But they do hold the cab up so I guess all is well. Make sure you get part # 25094742 that's the retainer clip. Mack neglected to tell me that on my first bag. $63.78 for the airbag
  15. Hmm, ok. Thanks for the reply. The bag looks like it should be for a seat not the cab. Thanks again
  16. I bought an air bag for my MH cab recently. It is a great deal smaller than the original. Part # 25498332. Is this correct?
  17. Heck they even tolerate us cabover folks. Well most of the time.

    Wrong sizes

LOL. Guess you don't have a 13'6" height restriction either. Don't you just love auction moves?! I once got a call from a Ford tractor dealer down in Ma that we hauled for. They sent me up to Presque Isle, Me with just a serial number. When we got there it was a riding lawnmower! Lot of room left over on my 48' drop. Oh well, its all by the mile.
  19. Just a thought, but try taking the governor line off the compressor make sure air is flowing at that point. Then you can search farther. A little heat would be helpful.
  20. Maybe get some Scotch too. Just in case. A little "antifreeze" for you wouldn't be a bad idea. Good luck
  21. That is AWESOME! Thank you for that article
  22. Wow. That is indeed important info. Thanks Kscrabel. A great wealth of info to be found at this site.
  23. Thanks Josh, I do appreciate that info.
  24. I'm not in a hurry. Truck is pretty much parked for the winter. You are right, the base is curved for the contour of the cab. Using the Ultraliner now. Thank you.
  25. Vibratesoftware? Sounds like it could be X rated.
