  1. 42 mt? I thought they were bigger than that. Locaol E9 expert told me it was a 52 mt? What is the 12 volt equivlent?
  2. Red will fade easy in Fl sun. But I do like the red frame with black cab idea. Maybe do the roof in silver to help with the thermal heat?
  3. Were you referring to the Astro's as fishbowls?
  4. No other make truck that ive found so far has the same style directional. K-D Lamp Co. is what it says. Looks like the directional on a Superliner EXCEPT the 2 mounting studs are opposite the side light, not a quarter turn off like a Superliner. .
  5. You wont belive this, but just this morning a gentleman called me who is cleaning out his dads garage. He went to Global truck to ask who would want some cabover parts. They sent him to us. He has 2 radiators with the shutters out of 60's vintage F models, and 3 Windshields. if this is anything you may be interested in drop me an email. i'll put you in touch with him. I was going to buy the stuff just for an occasion. Check out my old F model on the website. caboverkings.com
  6. Its factory with the E9 and a 6 spd. I ment the 6 spd isn't very driver friendly. The low isn't as much as a concern as the top end. Man at the Mack Museum told me that only 95 Cruiseliners with E9's were built. Im still waiting on the paperwork. Im second owner. It was ordered with a 6 spd. Only the original owner knows why. If I ever figure out my scanner id copy the line ticket here. Typical New England truck. Budds front spokes rear short W.B. Level 4 interior, dual exhaust air ride. That is not typical
  7. Wow. That is interesting. Ok, now im really going to test you folks. With the 13 spd that has a 12.31 low would idle around a barnyard ok? That's the only time I like the 6 spd. Other than when someone challenges me at a red light. The 6 spd is good there too
  8. Ok. Thanks. Im getting 6.1 now with the 6spd at a .62 overdrive and 5.73 rears. I don't consider that to terrible for a COE. I just want more gear choices! On a 45 to 50 mph 2 lane road it really stinks. Its either tached out or lugging @ 1100 rpm. Got to see what the Mack Museum paper work says. Gentleman on the phone told me Mack only made 95 Cruiseliners with theE9. I bet im still going to change it. Just to make it more driver friendly truck
  9. Has 22.5 at the moment but I want to put hub piloted w 24.5 lo pro's. They just look cleaner than the spokes. Pulling a dropdeck hauling farm machinery and hay. So not much weight. Does 1400 rpm give you good mileage? I was aiming for @ 1500 rpm at 70 mph
  10. That's Steve Rollins 89 R model that he stretched. Only has 227,000 miles. E7 300 w a 6 spd
  11. Lol. Thank yoy for the reply. Next question im pondering is gear ratio. I currently have 5.73s. Tranny has a .73 overdrive. I do not haul heavy any more and If need to I have other truck with a hood that I don't mind overworking. No its not a Mack. I was thinking 3.87s but after following the comments on here from you folks im kinda leaning toward 4.17s. Thanks again for the info.
  12. I believe that truck has the air ride cab. Yeah she has had a ruff life. Just imagine the stories some of these old trucks could if they talked. Some I think would just cry.
  13. Intresting. I asked this question a week ago and didn't get much response. But thats how it goes.
  14. Yes its a new style 13 w a pump. I was told that my E9 had a cam similar to the Maxidynes. Id keep the 6 spd because it was just rebearined @ 3000 mi ago. Just cant deal with the gap in the top 2 gears. Love it in the barnyard but out on a 2 lane road with a 45 or 50 mph speed limit it stinks. Thanks for the help.
  15. Ok just to be sure. Ive been told I cant swap my 6 spd for a 13 spd behind my E9 because it has the wrong cam. So it wouldn't pull properly with a 13 spd . I find that very hard to believe but over the years I have learned to respect those who have more experience than me. Any comments?
  16. WOW!!! Now that is one strange looking COE. Thanks for the pic. What is it? My bother and I have around 22 COE's. But nothing like that one.
  17. Looking for front directional for Eastcoast Cruiseliner. Come with "no longer available" every place ive looked.
  18. Ok ill take a look this weekend when I go over that side of town. Have an 81 parts truck. If the interior is any good ill leave a message here.
  19. 1985 Ultraliner parts truck. It runs it moves but it needs, R.H. windshield, input shaft on back drive, exhaust, some tires. I drove the truck home. We use it as a yard truck. Runs very good. B.C. 3 Cummins 350 9 spd Rockwell rears 3.55 on Reyco 4 spring. Cab is in good shape, interior is very nice. Recent radiator and air cleaner housing, I new airbag for cab. 4000 firm. Deerfield, N.H. 603 463 7883 or deeresimons@gmail.com

  20. I have some F model interior parts. Also have an air ride cabmate for an F. If you cant find me here go to our website, caboverkings.com
  21. HMM! Very interesting. I bet you can guess who will end paying the higher amount, as it gets pushed on down to the trucker. Thanks for the news, its good to keep up with whats happening.
  22. LOL. I hear ya. It is rather funky. If it were closer id drive down to look. Itching to know what the inside looks like. Oh well. Good thing I don't win the lottery, cuz Id have the biggest collection of strange COE's ever assembled.
  23. I have a RTLO 14713A behind a 2200lb tourque hauling lowbed. Regulary gross around 130,000. Sometimes up around 150,000. Truck has @ 680,000 on it. Point being, as long as you use youre head you will be fine. Stop and think, back in the day they KT's 1100 ci with 12513's behind em. Also keep in mind there are lots of 12513 trannys out there and there a lot cheaper to fix/replace. Just my 2 cents worth. 12513 also shift nicer than a 14613
