  1. Why do you say "spent a lot of time for nothing"? I'll admit it isn't the prettiest thing but you got to admit it is intresting
  2. Don't laugh, I'm a rookie when it comes to Macks. My 83 has spokes in the rear. Can I change it over to hub piloted wheels? 38 rears, CRD92 front CRD93 rear.
  3. Has anybody seen the 81 Cruiseliner on Ebay? That's an interesting truck #200990873988
  4. The truck pulling the trailer was an R model in that photo. Yes the state came around many years ago and told private Dam owners that they were not safe and then the state made it damn near impossible to fix/rebuild them. So most folks just blew them up or let go to pot.
  5. I will try to get a pic. Im electronicly challenged. Where do I measure to and from?
  6. I have a mid 70's hood? If I can figure out how to get pic so I can email I will post it. My question is how do I determine what yr it is? The hood is complete and in good shape. I want to sell it as there no trucks with hoods on this property. How many different style hoods did Mack produce?
  7. That is cool. I have a Sargent crawler crane that we use around here for engine transplants, etc... Use to load it and take to the Barrington truck show but it a pain to load as it doesn't crawl so good anymore. Old iron is just plain fun!
  8. Well thanks guys. Guess I better buy one before someone grabs it for storage
  9. Lol. I guess that makes sense. This Ultraliner isn't a pure bred and is just used to haul hay in the winter to keep my kinda rare Cruiseliner outa the salt. But it still needs glass.
  10. Thank you for the reply. How much do you want for a R.H. and how much to ship it to N.H.?
  11. I didn't realize that finding a windshield for an Ultraliner would be so hard to do. Anybody got any suggestions?
  12. I don't think Global has any MH's anymore. They had a major house cleaning. If you want I can get the number for a "hole in the wall" junk yard in Fl. Its not Sparr Truck but its near them. You may want to try Sparr as well. Anytime im down there I always visit all of them. Email me if you want those numbers. deeresimons@gmail.com
  13. Ill try to get some pics for you. Im not handy with emailing pics but ill try
  14. How nice does it have to be? Have a 81, but its rusty. Was a fancy interior, bullet cab lights dual air horns
  15. Thank you for the info. As im electronicly challenged how do I email the museum?
  16. Im fairly new to this site. Like it a lot so far. Does anyone know of a Cruiseliner registry? Also, where can I find interior parts for an EASTCOAST cab. Far as I know they were built from 81 to 83. I have a westcoast cab for parts but there is a world of difference.
  17. That is a very cool looking Superliner. If I ever were to buy a hood that one like yours would be the first choice. Classics never go outa style
  18. Running truck or need to be winched? Have loading facilities on both ends? Is the truck complete or in pieces?
  19. From where to where?
  20. Oh ok. Center of axle. Thank you
  21. I have an 83 Cruiseliner with neway susp. I have talked with my local dealer and to neway gave them the numbers off the hangers etc... Truck has a vibration at road speeds. The faster you go the worse it gets. I have tried adjusting the height several times. Has dual leveling valves so its not fun to adjust. Does anybody the correct height?
  22. L means Light Six wheel Tractor. I could be wrong but that is what my local Mack dealer told me on my F model
  23. Thank you
  24. Wondering what the fuel pressure should be? My E9 400 runs @ 37 to 40 PSI at 1600 rpm under load. Is that normal? Thanks for all the help out there. It's greatly apprecieated
  25. Scroll back thru this coulum and you can learn a lot about E9.s. There is a great deal of info at this site.
