  1. Whats the cooler mounted to the exhaust stack behind the cab for?
  2. Look on U tube 1975 Autocar hauling Hogs. I like the round fenders of that truck. Plus I like the Wilson trailer. We had 2 Wilson Bullracks back in the day
  3. Heard a story years back that the engineer that helped design the Ford CL had a hand at Mack with the MH. Would be interesting to know what the real deal is. There are similarities between the two.
  4. I would think they set the cab off to the right. What would be the sense of having the driver sit in the middle of the truck?
  5. Now that's a Dedicated mechanic
  6. That's pretty common for up here in northern N.E. If you like the truck have the frame fixed. Be cheaper than updateing. There are shops around that will fix repair or replace.
  7. And when you are blocking the cab be sure to place blocks under same braceing that cab air bags rest on. You don't want the cab coming down on you or the blocks going up thru the fiberglass
  8. No my ten yr son shows Dairy cows so we were at Cornish fair. Being a full time single Dad now for 7 yrs is a challenge. I miss tractor pulling and truck shows. But im happy to help my son do something he is really into. Cows are better than computers in my opinion
  9. I understand the modifications part. They didn't come with a Lund visor? thought the 600 or light versions did not have the bumper that stuck out. I ask to learn. Intresting. Thank you
  10. Ok, if that's a RW 600 why does the bumper stick out? I was told that only the 700 series did that
  11. You got that right. They would not be happy
  12. Oh Boy. LOL. Sat is Grays Auction day
  13. Welcome aboard. Very nice!! Where are ya located? Any more pics of the Cruiseliner? I should learn how to scan old pics and post them. Back in the 80's we had a 82 Cruiseliner pulling our 78 Wilson slat trailer
  14. Nice Chevy. Very sad to hear about the 9670 going to scrap. R.I.P.
  15. Yes that's what I ment. I use Lucas for the lubrication part but im wondering how best to prevent the algae?
  16. I was talking to a Gentlemen the other day who said he runs 2 cycle oil in his fuel for his old 3406A. Has anybody ever tried this? He claims it will keep the alleregy from forming in the fuel
  17. My 83 Cruiseliner has 5.73 ratio with a .62 overdrive TR1070 in it on 22.5s. Does 72 mph at 2100 rpm. I was running it to Pa every week couple of summers ago. Even with the E9 it still did 6.1 mpg
  18. Guess I missed the issue. Central Hydraulics like most any other plow truck. When they get to be 20 years old then your chasseing rusty hose ends. Ive seen people buy a truck to turn into a plow truck. The truck is the cheap part. Its the Hydraulics that is expensive
  19. The "Wispering Giant" I believe Mack called the E9. Heard my first E9 back in 1988. Ran along side for miles. Got hooked then & there. Never sounds like they're working. Just kinda lumbering along
  20. Hope that doesn't apply to farm tractors? LOL
  21. I had a Gentlemen approach me about F model windshields. He said the last 2 he bought were $1400. Cant verify that. Nice looking F! Love the 4 headlights
  22. Id like to know the story behind that tag
  23. Oh My!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is Priceless!! 😉
  24. So is that "Level 1" or "Level 2" interior? Or didn't Mack offer 3 levels in early Cruiseliners?
