  1. You guys are freakin hilarious....Amber calls me the "P" word sometimes and CONSTANTLY states that I don't know what pain is until I pass 2 kids out of my body. Then I state pass a kidney stone.......
  2. Ask him to at least give you a Snoopy or Scooby Doo bandage since your so special. Maybe you'll find a little load to run tomorrow or hopefully you will
  3. Hey I understand, but the next time you around let me know. I would always like to meet a fellow member.
  4. Oh I see how it is go to Gatlinburg but didn't try to contact a BMT friend close buy....lol... You really shoulda looked me up I coulda got you a good deal on waterheaters at the store. 249.00 for a 50 gal....damn i've been doin this too long, especially to remember prices
  5. Sorry Rob I've only owned one diesel pickup in my life and that was a '82 GMC. On the dodge with cummins diesel though I think with routine maintenance I've never heard a bad word about them, great for pullin/towing and reasonable fuel mileage. As you stated you'll have people bashing them cause the turbo is a little weak to them or something. This don't help you a bit so i'll shut up now
  6. Don't worry buddy i'm up to 5,000 or so. Miss Becky was a fine lookin lady, from the way you talked it seems she was a fine lady to be with, and I'm sorry you lost her like that. I lost my dad at 16 in a tragic car accident and there's not a day that goes buy I don't think about him. Alot of his old friends know where i work so they stop buy to visit and tell me alot of old stories about his younger days......Anyway, thats a vey generous thing you done for Bill and hopefully I'll be able to send him a few bucks myself. Like the song "You find out who your friends are" You can really tell how people are when it comes to troubling times.....
  7. Your a good man for doin that, Nice of you to help out...Thats alot of change though.........alot
  8. Cogratulations Rob to your daughter and family. Tell her good luck from all of us.....
  9. I really like his stories, they really kept me pre-occupied while i was workin security. I'll see what I can do for the fellar, and I encourage everybody to read his stories. Most of you fellow truckers have had the same experiences yourselves, but he has some good stories.
  10. She'll be in our prayers buddy...
  11. Hey Rob when you get the truck set up & work for it I'll drive her for ya. Hell I wanna drive a real truck, instead of the 'ol underpowered chevy 8500
  12. Amen Brother - Bulldog Man
  13. Man that would be awesome to have those trucks.....
  14. Well I was lookin and I was almost at the bottom of the blog list. Anyway lets look back into the last 9 months the boys are older, More bills have been paid, I have my CDL now, All this carrying sheetrock, shingles, doors and windows has made me feel a little better strength wise compared to workin security.......Other than that not much has went on. This week I got a noise violation ticket cause of one of the trucks at work. Were stayin busy though, especially with lowes just right up the street from us, we have 5 houses goin up at one time and a couple more just waitin for the rain to stop. Have a good one fellars, I must be off-Otherdog
  15. A buddy of mine had that happen to him in his Nissan pickup. He was gettin off the interstate and couldn't get the clutch to disengage. He asked me and i figured it was the slave cylinder, cause i've never heard of a spring breakin' in one, but i learned somethin new.....
  16. Yes it is Barry, I believe fully in the right to bear arms for protection, and huntin of course. There also tryin to pass the law about no smokin in your vehicles. I don't smoke, but damn.....I mean are they freakin serious?
  17. Ok first off I spelled bear like this cause not sure of any other way to spell it, anywho it seems they are trying to take away our rights to bear arms. I'm not a gun totin' mountain boy, but when it comes to my family & friends I'll do whatever I have to to protect us. I posted a link to the NRA website it's fast and easy if anyone would like to sign up to possibly help keep this from happening. I'm not saying it's ok for a shootin spree, but I know some of you fellars pack a little heat for protection...... https://www.nrahq.org/nrabonus/accept-membership.asp
  18. Sounds like you got it all figurd out on the downtme deal. A buddy of mine drove for a guy here in town pullin a fla bed and even though he didn't own the truck he wouldnt take a cheap load PERIOD.....He always told me thy could set there for all he cared, th other guy that worked with them got fired cause he would take any load anywhere period....

  22. You and my dad woulda got along great. He always loved to keep his trucks spotless inside and out. Every saturday was the "Wash dad's truck day" which was always a family event. Nice to see a good lookin bulldog still workin hard, and lookin good. Nice wash job bud, I guess the DOT don't give you to hard of a time.....lol. Be safe buddy
