  1. Well first off I'm gonna say this "TROLL" bullshit is gonna have to stop. Not pickin sides, but Rob only stated his opinion which might be the same opinion of others, or not the same opinion of others. Now that i got your full attention, we all get along well on here and if you misunderstand something that's fine, but your not just gonna get on here and start bashing against other members. I'm in no way a ADMINISTRATOR so.........I'm happy for ya if you payed some bills and wot not with you money, maybe you will have luck with gettin a Brockway, but lets just keep it civilized and on the earth level. Rob has been a member of these forums way before I come along and has always been helpful to others so........Good luck with whatever you gonna do.
  2. Well Rob I thought you was nice about what you said, And Bigdogtrucker he didn't mean anything bad buy it, but the man has a point....You got rid of the Auocar because of "Space" and "Cash" but when you bought this truck what did you end up with? Maybe you just wanted a Mack intead of a autocar, but you should multiply in trucks instead of going through them like crazy cause a man can never have enough trucks. I have a '52 ford F-600 and I really want a B-model, but it has never worked out for me to have one. I just stick with my old truck I've had for 7 years and pretty much nothing has got done to it till the last couple of months. Maybe you oughta stick with one to keep, just my opinion.........
  3. I always liked "Hold up on that car wash gentelmen" & "Give me a diablo sandwich and a Dr. Pepper i'm in a God D@%# hurry"
  4. I appreciate the help guys. I'm gonna try and go up there his weekend "Hopefully" and see if we can sort this problem out. He kinda needs the truck for other things, but with his overheating issue it kinda throws a wrench into the gears scenario. I'll be in touch wih ya James.
  5. A buddy of mine has a '86 International cabover that has all of the sudden started overheating on the least little hill. He was haulin full time with the truck but bought a Western Star and only uses the cabover to pull a reefer trailer around a 100 mile round trip on saturday. The truck is a low mileage truck around 400,000, and the fuel is set on the factory settin. Just the least little incline it'll heat up then shut it's self down. Bobtailing it does fine, but even pullin his savannah log trailer around EMPTY it'll try to heat up. He replaced the water pump with no luck and is wondering what to look for next. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks guys
  6. I plead the 5th.....
  7. I always just use the cheesey pickuplines to get a laugh outa her....Sometimes I use them tryin to be kinda corny/cool.......She still loves me for my good looks..and my belly
  8. Glad to hear from ya bud.....The whole thing about Otherdog is tru by the way, Rob and myself had nothing to do with his decision.................Nothing whatsoever................Glad to hear from ya bud and hopefully everything will work out. Don't be a stranger
  9. You guy are just to much. I still use the cheesey pickup lines on my wife after 6 years of marriage, she just laughs while rollin here eyes

  11. Well the weather has been crappy here, but starting to clear up. On the ther note I heard a decent joke today...........What did the egg say to the boiling water? It might take me awhile to get hard, cause i just got layed by a chick.....I thought it was good.
  12. If you think that things underpowered you would die driving a 3126 Cat cause they absolutely suck. The truck I drive is a '94 chevrolet 6500 w/a 8LL, and i so underpowered that it gets down right ridiculous. It has a Moffett Mounty lift on the back of it so thats a extra 4000 pounds which dont really help at all. The first pic is just to show you the truck, the second pic is a load i took to a marina we deliver to frequently. On one hill I skipped 2 gears the first downshift and dropped 2 more gears puttin me into second gear before i reached the top. That's at a 45 mph run at the hill. I'd love to have a R-model with a 237 or 300 just toget away from that damn 3126. A least the mack has the torgue behind it.
  13. All joking aside the 237 is a great motor, just like the 300.
  14. This is how Otherdog turned up the fuel on the F model Mack he drove. Seemed to work well, note the second picture is what the end result where.......And before you ask the second picture is what the dash boards looked like in all F models. I swear it is....
  15. Sorry Rob but the price has to go to 600.00. Why you ask cause I know where he parks it and I can make a hundred for myself.... Or we could sell him a black and white B-model located in Ohio.
  16. I second Larry on his comment....and hopefully the 40 gallons should hold you for awhile. I would say after all that time settin with water in the lines it wouldnt hurt to go through the pump.

  21. I figured just by the title that momma maybe done something bad to ya, but all I gotta say is "Go Mamma Go"
  22. Hey I appreciate the info guys, and I did make them.......Fairly simple, but ouldn't want to do i again though. The instructor was fairly easy, but SHE turned real snotty whenever I didnt shift to her liking, she got over it though.
  23. Those ol 425's could sure walk a mountainside, not a bad lookin truck bud.
  24. Uh oh i feel a weight watchers joke coming on.......I'm a Jenny Craig dropout myself so i got your back on this one rob
  25. Those 3408's are iron clad motors..I like the old W-900a's always a personal favorite of mine. One thing about the KW's is the doors will interchange, cause theres a '69 narrow hood w-900 sittin in jellico with Daylight doors on it. The owner bought it just for the motor and said the doors was from a '94 t-600......kinda crazy......anyway we need some pics of the 'ol girl and pics of your progress on the B model.
