  1. I appreciate it Paul, I just worry too much. I feel petty confident, the backing and stuf is pretty easy for me and a few other things but it says they will grade you on downshifting to a stop without excessive rolling outa gear and stuff. I might get over there and it'll be a piece of cake, just nervous.....
  2. I appreciate it guys, I've been practicing everything I can trying to do my best. It's just the pre-trip i dread...
  3. Don't know how to start this but here goes..I work tuesday thru saturday and off sunday & monday. Well i go back to work tuesday and the boss tells me i need to get everything ready to get my class B cdl. I already have a class A permit cause someone promised me they would take me then fell through, i just had them reinstated every year and hoped. We have a "Buggy Truck" as we call it at work with a Moffet Mounty lift on the back, and they fired the 2nd driver for it and want me to be the backup driver till the summer, and hopefully i'll get my own truck when things pick back up. They was talkin about having 2 buggy trucks then business slowed down so....Anywho tuesday they put me in the truck with the normal driver and told me to learn it all, I took 2 deliveries tuesday, and a couple thursday driving the whole time runnin the lift and learning how everything worked. Thursday morning the boss called me into his office and said i had to go to knoxville to pick up "Fiberock" & "Durarock" and told me to stop and set up my appointment for my test. Kinda quick i thought but, the regular driver told him that i seemed pretty safe and reliable to drive.....Not tootin' my own horn cause i hate braggin' and i hate someone that brags on thereselve to much, but i believe i done decent but my downshifting is a little sloppy at times. Sorry this is so long but i wanted to make my cdl, but dang it's like it happening too quick and if anyone has any pointers suggestions it would be greatly appreciated....Thanks Guys
  4. Pics on job sites, the road and others i've acquired. All took with my cell phone
  5. If you seen the 1 ton I drive Rob you wouldn't believe it would do this.....By the way it a '94 Chevrolet.
  6. Happy Birthday Rob....Hope you have a safe b-day bud

  8. Surely shes not one of those "It better have good Air Conditioner" or "it better have an air ride seat on my side" type of gal is she??? Still gotta love 'em though
  9. I think i know who it is, but i'll just keep my mouth shut......
  10. Too bad it wasn't the summer, talk about your mosquito-be-gone...lol. Burns my eyes lookin at it
  11. Yeah i've talked to him for the last week myself, over 2200 miles one way and still truckin along. he had well over 200 pics he said. Well Rob i guess i'll have to get your number and Paul's to keep in touch with everbody...He'll be back eventually, maybe he will get "Home Sick" soon and show back up
  12. I could probably stnd the -41, but the Toyota couldn't. The '88 Suburban we have will start anytime, I fired it up this morning with no problem. I figured i would see how it done in 2 degree weather for it to be a TBI 350 it done well, we had a '95 silverado that was cold natured very bad
  13. Last I heard Dan Thomas in Oregon is the owner of this truck. If you don't know him he has a W-71 Mack, and a LTL both very nice trucks. He has his trucks on the ATHS videos, but not the H-63. Look around on Hanks Truck Pictures you will see the pics and it stated Dan's the owner......Otherdog might be able to shed some light on the subject also.
  14. Just 2 degrees this morning for us, poor little Toyota just barely made it. 23 was the high, but i wouldnt know what to think with it minus 21....My hats off to you, and your not allowed to practice your swimming in the bath tub momma would be mad at the mess you would make....lol
  15. Too bad all that gold will be covered in grease, but you'll be able to feel that money when your driving around. Sad to hear about the R-600, Very decent lookin truck and good price on her too. If i had the cash i definitely would buy it. I think it's case the economy, everyone's holding onto their cash. Would make a nice little single axle dump, or continue into the lowboy business. Hope everything's doing fine elsewhere up north and you guys have a good one.....
