Is that gonna be restored next after the b-model? You gotta get some progress pics up for the b-model, I'd like to see the progress. Have a good one...

Nice pics James. Good looking hauler you have. One question though, why don't you have that nice dump bed on the yet??
  10. It's all part of fooling with the general public at hand. I work on a lumber yard and make deliveries/pickups. I had a guy wan't a 2x4x16 cut into 2, 12ft. sections. After i explained to him that it was impossible he started getting smart with me, best thing I know to do is WALK AWAY. Sometimes making deliveries the customer starts "Where the hell have you been" My smart a$$ way want's me to say Your mama's, but then I explain as nicely as possible I had 3 more drop off's. Sometimes you have to get smart back with them though, guy wanted me to pull a loaded 1 ton chevrolet loaded to the max into his back yard, I told him I would get stuck, he said otherwise I said the only way I would do it if he signed the paperwork saying I'm not responsible for damage. Not quite on point, but I had to stand my ground on that. I don't blame you though, you have to put some people back in line.
  11. Hopefully you'll get some good progress on the mack, like I'm trying to on my dad's truck. Now what's this about you not being somewhere? Sound's fishy to me...lol.
  12. Day 2 in the books,Might need to start a journal like a sailor finding new land. Captains Log Day 2: Having a hard time living with this woman, she cooks and cleans, calls me honey, then curses at me. I've yet to figure out how to successfully make her not complain....... Just pullin ya leg....
  13. I'll mention it to the bossman, we would be glad to have ya. We've been gettin' alot of would from georgia and north carolina. Pretty crappy stuff to.
  14. Maybe you won't go to stir crazy over the next few days. You can keep that weedeating stuff to yourself though...lol. Maybe you and Jobyna won't be fist fighting by the middle of next week. Have a good one buddy....
  15. I appreciate it Mackdaddy. Me and Tater "the guy that worked with dad" always make sure the drivers are took care of, and that they get unloaded and all the help they need. We know how it is and glad to help out all we can. If you ever get any lumber going to Potters home center of jacksboro, tn. you better take it...lol Have a good one..

Sounds like your having a interesting couple of days off. Never been a fan of chinese myself, I think it's because I couldn't identify some of the stuff myself.

I hope you ge to it before everybody else does, Around here it's pretty much gone. Sounds like a nice outfit you got though.
  18. Summertime is a fun time, except for working in it all the time. Maybe if I left now in my '52 ford I could make it to the truck show in time lol...I could meet up with Other dog and we could race up I-81. It would be like a J.B. Hunt & Schneider racing up a mountain, anyway I hope the show turns out good for you guys this year. Be good buddy
  19. Yeah it's low on freon, better have the vaseline ready ours done this the other day cost $170.00 to charge ours, plus labor, etc. We have a pinhole somewhere on the cor they said, and of course it's the only part of the system that's not covered on our 10 year warranty "so they say". This is the second time in our 5 years of owning this place it has happened. Good luck
  20. Glad to have you bloggin with us. It's always nice to have a clean ride, plus the d.o.t. will leave you alone. Glad to see someone is still making it with these high fuel prices. Don't worry about rambling on I do it constantly, sometimes I wonder about the stuff I say. Have a good week and keep that dog a rollin'
  21. Hate to hear about your garden, your gonna have to do those varmits like Bill Murray does on caddyshack.....anyway good pics, I wan't my smoker to be like that but I'm thinking about mounting mine on a trailer. Nice place you have there, plenty of shade I see. Have a good one buddy.
  22. That's the truth if I've ever heard it
  23. Very true Barry. Just hate to see another one go, makes you wonder who'll be next. Fuel prices the way they are makes me not even wan't a volkswagen diesel. All the owner operators and ompanies are taking a beating, but I just hope they can get some kind of break soon.
  24. He told me he appreciated it alot, he was supposed to be there around 5:00 but got held up in alot of traffic. He called around 5:35 and said he was 20 miles away. After he got there he was gonna leave the trailer, I told him no need I'll help ya'. I told him about a fiend of mine in virginia does this all the time and don't get any help. Always nice to help a fellow driver though. Not his fault it's just what happens.
  25. Well I was gonna start a new blog thursday, but was tired after work. Was pretty the first 2 days this week and busy then it started raining wednesday morning. Tempertures started dropping stayed in the high 50s and low 60's. Thursday was an interesting day had to stay over for a while to unload a truck with osb board, I helped the driver unstrap and untarp, then used the forklift to haul his tarps and straps to the other side, What can I say I'm a friend of the american trucker. They was gonna make the driver stay there all night till in the morning, but i talked them out of it. Other than that it was an alright week though, my boots are still soaked from all the rain. Kinda cool working there though, because the guy that drives the tandem GMC worked with dad back in the day. My first day there I knew him from somewhere, but couldn't remember where it was now we talk about back in our TCT days. Even though I was just 13 at the time I remember alot. Anyways I'm gonna go spend some time with my family. Catch you guys on the flip side......I Must Be Off.......
