  1. Good pictures, and that's a sharp freightliner. I always liked the fld120's and the coronado's. No rain for the last couple of dys for us, but today is different so my buddy won't get to finish planting his garden. Have a good one buddy
  2. Welcome to the site and congratulations on paying her off early. I'm just glad to see a owner/operator trucking in a mack. Hope you enjoy the site.
  3. Well That's what I done yesterday, and man I wish I had more to haul off. Anyway I just talked to Othedog earlier and he was talking about seeing all kinds of trucks haulin decent vehicles off just for the quick buck, I seen a 2002 or 2003 model ford focus wrecked, but in repairable condition though at the scrap yard a 70's model transtar 2 cab down there in very good shape. It's crazy what people are doing nowadays, but as high as gas and everything else is i don't blame them. Amber and the boys have fell asleep on me so now I have time to update my blog. Copper is geting out of hand down here also people are burning houses and robbing peoples houses just for a little copper. If I can find enough I'll keep on haulin it, but it's getting scarce around here. Well as Otherdog says I must be off, and everyone have a good one.

    Not Much

Good looking KW, what do you have in it for power? Those are pretty smart dogs, easy to train I've heard, but hopefully ypu'll get to keep it and a slow week in a shop is sometimes a good week I've thought. Have a good one...

    Busy Time!

Sounds like your busier than a one legged man in an a$$ kicking contest. Sorry I won't be able to make it Barry, and I hope it turns out awesome.
  6. Have a safe trip Paul, and get us some good pictures. Always good to meet old friends.

    Easy Does It

Good deal, I would have never thought to do it that way. Which I would probably still be there scratching my head, wondering. Oh yeah forgot to tell you welcome to the site and any friend of otherdog is a friend of mine.
  8. Good lord that's a loooong load. Funny about jeffrey reminds me of old bill's story. oh yeah i would probably have that cherolet at my house if I was you, could be a nice little brother for the mixer.
  9. You guys crack me up, but I just can't wait till tomorrow...or today rather, hopefully it won't rain cause I' supposed to grease 2 trucks and change the oil in one of them.
  10. The way the weather is around here at the moment I would wait also. Just waiting for the poke salad to come up. Still like a few weeks yet though.
  11. The tennis shoes I have now are a couple of year's old so they are in good condition, but just wore out.
  12. Well I guess eveyone knows I finally found a job which is pretty easy except for standing on your feet for 12 hours solid. Other than that the job is actually great, people are nice and ready to help at any time needed. Amber's brother work's the same shift so if we work together we cut up alot. You can listen to your own music eat anytime, and it's fast paced work at times. I've never liked a factory job except for this one. The only reason i'm still up is I have nowhere to sleep in the bed Amber and the boys are taking up the WHOLE bed. Anyway my schedule is messed up so if you call and I don't answer jut leave a message, I check my phone constantly, but they only let us use them on breaks. My schedule is like I work monday tesday, off wednesday thursday, work friday saturday sunday, then off monday tuesday, work wednesday thursday, off friday saturday sunday. I'm working this weekend though..... is about the way I feel now so I'm gonna hit the couch with the cats for awhile. Oh yeah Paul I forgot for some reason to give you my cell, like said I check my phone constantly. Anyway I'll try to touch base with everyone this week......see you guys on the flip side
  13. Thanks tom and I'll try to explain my schedule for everyone "I'm getting used to it myself".
  14. Sounds like your having nothing but fun. Real estate has really bottomed out here. When I get a few things settled I'm looking at property right across from me. I own my propertyfree and clear, but as long as it's cheap and I can afford it I'm fine. Good luck paul and hope everything works out for you.
  15. Funny part was when he got started the woman in the costume couldn't quit laughing. Tell Jobyna he's proud of his stinky suprises, cause he laughs when you tell him he stinks.
  16. Good pics. otherdog. I like that old ford. Not much excitement sounds like my new job, but you get to travel "lucky dog"!!! Well I gotta go get ready for work, I'll talk to ya tomorrow.
  17. Glad to hear you got the Peterbilt sold. I wish I could find a shop to rent closeby. My 30 by 30 garage might be enough room for some, but between my 69 chevy and everything else in the free world stuffed in there I'm cramped for space. I told amber if I ever got the money I would build a shop big enough for a class 8 truck. Anyway, I hope everything works out nice for your cab and good luck
  18. ...or maybe they're thinking that great big rabbit would be very tasty in a pot with some carrots and onions, like Elmer Fudd with Bugs Bunny. lol..we thought they would freak out, but they done fine. Parker left the easter bunny a big smelly surprise in his diaper though while this picture was being taken.

    Home Again

We could always call Jeff & Teresa to see if they would get you a new freightliner cabover. Bad thing about those you can get the really underpowered mercedes benz motor. I've heard from a guy that hauled raw bark from the chipmill say they would just fall on their face when you would see ahill ahead. Just joking about the cabover deal. Back on track though, I didn't know you could turn that cummins up that high. I would have them turn it up and all should go well though. What trans. is coming in your soon to be new truck? Funny thing about the peterbilts though is the sleepers have remained unchanged through the years. The insides have changed in ways, but they are all pretty much interchangable.

    Home Again

Those 386's are nice trucks, I see alot of them running on the road now. I would tell them to turn the fuel to it, if it wouldn't void the warranty. The set back axle would come in handy for tight situations, but I could see losing your ride quality. Glad to see you made it back alright "being spring break weekend" Talk to you later.
  21. Passenger: No don't worry people cross it all the time Driver: In a dump truck Passenger:..........Yep. My uncles brothers cousin used to all the time. Driver:Ok After the incident: Driver: What the he!! man Passenger: Maybe it was another bridge he used to cross!!!
  22. Ok here's there easter picture which for some reason didn't work the first time. Enjoy..
  23. A good looking Jimmy though. Yeah definitely a good looking truck. It's for sale the last time I talked to him and the trailer that's hooked to it. 9,000.00 for the whole outfit I think is a decent deal.
  24. Good looking dump body James. Looks like your like the rest of us just waiting for nicer weather. It was good talking to you today, hope you get to work on her soon. See ya buddy.
  25. Yeah he's hauled everything from raw mulch to logs with this truck. Bad part is it has no jake brake, but will only run about 64 wide open, down hill, loaded.
