  1. Well I'm setting here patiently waiting for the phone call from my wife saying it's time we gotta go and man my heart beats fast everytime I think about that. As I mentioned to other dog she's having contractions they are slow, but picking up a little at a time. We are both so anxious we can't sleep at night, but I'm sure that will wear off soon enough. Me and the misses have already picked out all kinds of stuff from the mack shop catalog for the boys so they will be riding in style. Just wanted to tell everybody I'm gonna share the pictures on the board when they are born, so stay tuned.
  2. Not at the hospital yet, but very very close. She's had contractions for the last 2 days. They are slow, but getting faster by the day. No artic circle either, to cold for my blood. Been away from the computer for awhile, don't get on it much at home like I used to, just at work. Not been able to do to good here at work either, with the holidays here everybody's bringing wood in from all over the place and bark sales is going crazy also, trying to run scales, clean-up, make check rounds is harder than I thought it would ever be. Don't worry though when the babies get here you guys will get to see the first pictures
  3. I've never heard of turkey hash before. Sounds pretty good though. I think I'll pass on just the plain turkey with all the fixings for awhile though.
  4. Welcome from East Tennessee
  5. Welcome fom East Tennessee.
  6. That's how it always happens.People around here are bad to buy a old beat up tractor and trailer, put farm tags on it and drive it everywhere with no cdl or nothing. They don't get caught, but people like me and you would just start the truck and move a few feet then get busted for sure. I don't see why they need the extra $50.00 besides being greedy, but it should just be switch the title to a single owner and that's it. Just another way to screw the workin' man. I'm sure the meth-monkey's wouldn't have to pay the extra 50.00 though. Have a good one.
  7. Can't wait to see her done. Sounds like you have everything planned out. Good luck JOE
  8. Thanks guys. Paul, I figured time would only fly by even more after I got older but man it seems like yesterday we just got married. James, I plan on cherishing every moment with them as much as I can. Back in march I was offered a driving job for Schneider over the road and let it go, because of her being pregnant. I didn't wan't my kids to only remember me on the weekends, like i did my dad. Maybe when they get older I could do something like that, but I don't wanna miss the important things like their first walk, talking and just general time period. Thanks guys for the support, JOE.
  9. I would say the mack museum would be able to help you out. I don't have their phone number, but maybe someone will chime in and give it to you. Maybe try googling it.
  10. Well the doctor told us thursday that she's ready to go any minute. Meaning if she shows any kind of complication or anything they are gonna take them. So here we are setting around waiting just thinking about all the times we were alone at home nobody else to talk to, thinking any minute we could be runnin' to the hospital and coming home with 2 babies. We are definetly ready now, we have the car gassed up and packed ready to go at anytime, only thing I gotta do is put the car seats in and that's it. It's hard to believe how your life can change in just a few years. October 2003 was when we got married didn't have a care in the world I was 18 she was 17, and here we are 4 years later having babies. Time flies, because it just seemes like last month she was telling me the news. I remember the smile on her face and I could just picture mine in my head. Sorry to go on, but it's just crazy how the times fly by so quick. I'll keep everyone updated.
  11. Sounds like you've been busy, and getting ready for Turkey day. I dread it we gotta do our thanksgiving shopping on monday. I'm just glad I don't have to work this year.
  12. Finally got mine done. Took me awhile to figure it out.
  13. If you have a microwave in that peterbilt you can have stew through the week. I figured you would have done left out by now.

    Stewed Out

  16. I go on the diesel gypsy all the time to read the stories. I'll go over ther right know and read your stories. Sounds like you've trucked for awhile. My buddy has trucked since the late '60's and says every few years you have to come off the road for a few weeks to chill out for a little bit, the right back at it. Thanks JOE
  17. Runnin' 20 to birmingham is a rough ride in places the last I heard. A buddy of mine drives a truck and he said it was getting outa shape the last time he run it. I know where cherry street is, but I've not been on it in awhile. Hopefully I'll start driving truck soon and I'll be able to see some more of the country side. Most people say truckin' has wen't down hill, but I love it and it's all i know. When most kids was reading books like "cat in the hat" I was reading Truck Papers. How long have you been trucking? I started riding with my dad back in '98 for the summer and I loved it even more ever since. Just can't wait to get started. See Ya Joe
  18. Never been to Pine Knot. Where did you go to in knoxville?
  19. That stew does sound good. Thanks for the invite, and next time your around knoxville or north of knoxville on interstate 75 we can get together and hang out for awhile. It's always nice to meet another board member.

    Frost

If I knew it would make it alright I would send you some poke salad. The mail people would probably think I was sending you the green leaves you smoke. They are calling for frost here also so I think fall is here to stay now, but who knows It'll probably be 80 degrees on christmas and a blizzard on thanksgiving.
  22. NoClueJoe66
