    Speaking of the devil!-A cars that is. Ran into a friend this AM. Retired but he drove for a Mass contractor, always a nice fleet of Macks. Then he bought a new Paccar. Just ordered a new A-car triaxle.

    There are a few dump trucks in service in eastern Mass. Been a very slow ramp up though. The truck was introduced ??? two years ago?

    Likewise...if it was a reference to KSC I just think he is a guy who has a lot of irons in the fire..unlike this old retired guy😎 Glad he dropped in again.

    Note my smiley. You are right ..You really set that dumb shit straight. You felt good and he probably said to himself, "sorry I asked". The usual stock answer to that question most guys at shows give with a laugh, when asked that question..."because SBC's have always been the most cost effective mod..plenty around and mod parts are plentiful-but Fords are slowly catching up". And the guy asking the question will have learned something. And as for my comment on working the dock in Europe, the translation of that is ...All Euro trucks look the same. Cab overs and no conventionals. Your "handle" says it all.

    Yes that was the "CL" that replaced the square W series. If you met one coming at you on an interstate off ramp the cab tilted so much you would have thought it was going to roll over.

    KSC...Where have you been...Stick around! ..Always good to get your view on the world scene. Our Aussie pals always give us a good view of the down under scene but nice to see what is going on in Euro. Also as always wondering if any of these big bucks being spent in Turkey somehow make their way here...in particular as far as the smaller diesels go.

    Well Dave thx..I get so tired of going to shows and there is a beautiful 32..With the distributor on the wrong end😎 Well I guess if you were in Europe you would be working on the dock loading ALL of the ugly trucks😎

    With the size of the dump "pan" vs the old one, and if the operator says it is slower, seems like they went backwards.

    So it it electric..? looks like a big genset underneat it. Check out Sennebogen's website. Family owned business. There was a big one working at the golf course near me this summer. Wheeled unit like a 4 wheel rubber tired excavator but I'll bet boom and dipper stick totaled 50 feet or more . looked like it had a mulching head on it so this sucker could reach up like 50+ feet and chew a tree top down.

    Wow! Pan looks smaller than old system. Payhaulers will fit? PLus Generator ?? Not diesel powered? Pan must have a hydraulic lock device vs old cable dragline system??

    I imagine you got more than one thumbs up too😎 1700 at 72 MPH..now that is nice! Then again you probably are surprised by the number of "steering wheel holders" driving a "large car" with a visor that is 6" from the hood, who pass you and don't give it a look. What really pisses me off is when I'm out in my 68 Bronco and I encounter some millennial driving a "new" Bronco and I don't get a second look! My two sons each have 74's...same experience.

    Have no fear..I would bet the only thing that gets on this bed will have rubber tires..attached to a valuable vehicle😎
