    Well just saw a Fox story on the looting and they correctly made the distinction-we are not talking about mothers taking formula or diapers. We are talking about people shuttling back and forth with boxes of "goods" and as the reporter pointed out-most were wearing what looked like decent footware and they were stashing their loot in some nice new model vehicles-no junkers. Two Taurus PI's roll in and that was the end of that but the damage was done.

    For sure-but wasn't the issue the stone he got out of that quarry up near the MA border? He is now operating in East Haven??? And what is the basis for bis suit?

    "experience"-good answer! And maybe a final drive ratio north of 9.00! Spent many a wasted time on 84 when that interchange was done.

    Well I have been selective about what topics I checked in on last couple of weeks as I've been caught up in annual ag fair that makes for some very long days. In a nutshell, what was the straw that broke the camels back here? I have to say TG did have some good insights into a lot of issues.

    Well the stock closed today at 31.19 after opening at 30.93. Will see what tomorrow brings.

    And is THIS the real reason for them to can their own mid range engines? Seems like it is a complete turnaround from previous position trying to be vertically integrated. A good product and you get rid of it?

    OK-always thought the blown out back panel was across the board.

    What I don't understand is plastic dash with flat back cab panel? When I saw the picture I thought-Not an 83 and "Steel dash" Anyone have a clue???

    I think Kevin that the Univ. of Maryland has a significant "fire science" program and has had for years.

    Well VERY nice colors if I must say so in any case. I would say "Mack Green" vs. International Adirondack Green

    Patsie, Well said and a huge thank you I'm sure from a lot of people for stepping up to the plate. The Wednesday "coffee club" has another star attraction and I'm sure Denis will have a special spot for it! Bob

    You would think that such an extensive collection could almost pay for its upkeep if housed in a decent building with volunteers staffing. tourist destination like SF would I'm sure draw plenty of fire/truck buffs

    Rich Last year-maybe two years ago one of my kids spotted it on that side road that cuts across to 25. So I stopped in while it was "in progress". Left my card on the seat but never heard from the guy. Last year he had some homebuilt rack body on it-looked like it was all wood. don't know what his next move is. I think he lives in back of the motel.

    Well Jim you are probably right-even though there are a lot of members I'm sure questioning this move. The truck sold itself-what "marketing/negotiating skill" was brought to the table by the third party.

    Very good-almost full circle! Almost full circle but I'm sure at some point it will be "visiting". The big thing is, not only does it not go to Newark to get stuffed in a container for an overseas destination, it comes home to its roots. Question remains-why did ATHS need an outsider to sell this. Hopefully we will get a good explanation in WOT.

    Interesting-In CEO's comments not one mention of "Mack". Kevin-What is reference to "bus frames". Does Volvo own Prevost now or are they just building them frames??
