I heard that Mack engines have had cam shaft problems from 1999-2001 approx. I want to update my trucks but I have heard horror stories about these engines mostly camshafts failing and needing re-building. Can someone please tell me once an engine has been rebuilt could it fail again because the engines design was faulty or was it the parts that were faulty and once rebuilt should be fine or not.
