  1. It is still valid. It's absolutely a nervy play, but if you knew all that China and Russia were doing up there, then you would make an attempt for it as well.
  2. Senate hearing: President Trump's plan for the Panama Canal. . . Watch from 1:30
  3. This is complicated. And remember, the UK has the right of first refusal to buying Greenland (Mark Felton explains below). I know we used it extensively in the war as an aircraft stopover. And all the major powers have been busy busy staking territory claims throughout the Arctic. Strategically, having Alaska AND Greenland would give our military a very strategic stance. Canada is great, but they can't afford to militarily enforce their vast, vast northern lands. The easiest way would be for the locals to vote for US ownership. Our selling point would be we'll improve your quality of life, unlike the current status quo. .
  4. On Monday, President Trump suspended 57 government officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development for trying to circumvent his executive order on freezing all foreign aid. We have identified several actions within USAID that appear to be designed to circumvent the President's Executive orders and the mandate from the American people. As a result, we have placed a number of USAID employees on administrative leave with full pay and benefits until further notice. USAID acting administrator Jason Gray President Trump must find a way to gut the union, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) that represents most federal government employees (aside from postal). The AFGE is a root cause of government inefficiency.
  5. Noem speaks our language. Criminal alien with kidnapping, assault and burglary charges is now in custody - thanks to ICE. Dirtbags like this will continue to be removed from our streets. 6. A leaked memo states that President Trump has temporarily paused all federal grant, loan and other financial assistance programs. In the interim, to the extent permissible under applicable law, federal agencies must temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all federal financial assistance. The pause applies to all other relevant agency activities that may be impacted by the executive orders, including, but not limited to, financial assistance for foreign aid, non-governmental organizations, DEI, woke gender ideology, and the green new deal. Acting director of the Office of Management and Budget Matthew Vaeth The White House budget office has ordered federal agencies to temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance, but does not affect Social Security, Medicare benefits nor assistance provided directly to individuals. The suspension goes into effect today at 5pm EST. Agencies have until February 10 to submit detailed information on any programs, projects or activities subject to the pause. The suspension provides the administration with time to review agency programs and determine the best uses of funding for those programs consistent with the law and Trump's priorities. Agencies must identify legally mandated actions or deadlines for assistance programs before completing the analysis. The problem is, this should not have been leaked. This time around, there can't be leaks. The individual(s) who leaked the memo must be made an example of.
  7. I have no doubt Secretary Hegseth will correct and get to the bottom of the malicious compliance we’ve seen in recent days. President Trump celebrated and honored the Tuskegee Airmen during his first term. Senator Katie Britt R-AL Amen! We’re all over it, Senator. This will not stand. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth
  8. On Monday, President Trump signed an executive order for the immediate construction of an Iron Dome-like shield for the United States, calling it a top priority. The U.S. will immediately begin the construction of a state-of-the-art Iron Dome missile defense shield, which will be able to protect Americans. Americans protect other countries, but we don't protect ourselves. The President mentioned that President Reagan was interested in such a system during the Cold War but the U.S. didn't have the technology. And now we have phenomenal technology. You see that with Israel. So I think the United States is entitled to that. And everything will be made right here in the USA 100%.
  9. Oklahoma proposes requiring parents to provide proof of citizenship when enrolling students. Schools are crippled by the flood of illegal immigrants and the Biden/Harris open border policy. Oklahomans and the country elected President Trump and we will do everything possible to help put Oklahoma students first. Republican State Superintendent (education chief) Ryan Walters

  11. Do any BMT members in Vermont have more details ? A Washington state woman has been charged in the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Vermont, which happened days after authorities began watching her and a German companion who also died in the roadside shootout. Teresa Youngblut, 21, faces two weapons charges in connection with the murder of Border Patrol Agent David Maland, 44, who died Monday during the shootout in Coventry, a small town 20 miles from the Canadian border. According to an FBI affidavit, a border agent pulled over Youngblut and German national Felix Bauckholt on Interstate 91 to conduct an immigration inspection. At the time, Bauckholt appeared to have an expired visa, according to a DHS database. Youngblut, who had been driving Bauckholt's car, got out and opened fire on Maland and other officers without warning. Bauckholt tried to draw a gun but was shot. At least one border agent fired on Youngblut and Bauckholt. Investigators had been performing “periodic surveillance” of Youngblut and Bauckholt since January 14th after an employee at a hotel where they were staying reported concerns after seeing Youngblut carrying a gun, and she and Bauckholt wearing black tactical gear. Investigators tried to question the pair, who said they were in the area looking to buy property but declined to have an extended conversation. About two hours before the shooting, investigators watched Bauckholt exit a Walmart in Newport (north of Coventry) with two packages of aluminum foil. Then he was seen wrapping unidentifiable objects while seated in the passenger seat. During a search of the car after the shootout, authorities found cellphones wrapped in foil, a ballistic helmet, night-vision goggles, respirators and ammunition. They also found a package of shooting range targets, including some that had been used, two-way radios, about a dozen “electronic devices,” travel and lodging information for multiple states, and an apparent journal.
  12. Hegseth is on point. Note he said Fort Bragg (the correct name), and not Fort Liberty. .
  13. It has been reported that, in her youth, LA Mayor Karen Bass praised Fidel Castro and had close associations with Cuba. She traveled to Cuba in 1973 with an organization called the Venceremos Brigade to see Castro speak. In 2016, when Castro died, she referred to him as 'commandante en jefe' (commander-in-chief) saying his passing was a 'great loss to the people of Cuba.' She also reportedly gave a eulogy for a senior member of the Communist Party USA.
  14. President Trump and Bass says people could go to their properties. But the reality is..........
  15. The Trump administration has frozen the Department of Energy's activities pending a comprehensive review of its alignment with his priorities. A memo from acting Energy Secretary Ingrid Kolb says the freeze affects grants, loans, procurement, studies, and even personnel decisions, effectively bringing the agency’s $50 billion budget to a standstill. The halt is a direct shot at dismantling Biden-era climate policies. The DOE’s Loan Programs Office, holding $41.2 billion in conditional commitments to energy technology companies, now finds its purse strings tightly cinched. Other critical missions, like nuclear waste cleanup and maintenance of emergency crude reserves, are similarly on pause. The order mirrors an earlier Trump directive freezing funds tied to Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act and a bipartisan infrastructure law, both of which allocated billions for clean energy initiatives. Trump has made it clear that climate-focused spending is no longer a federal priority. The Interior Department issued a similar freeze on wind and solar project leases on federal lands and waters. While critics, including U.S. oil companies, have highlighted the President's seemingly contradictory approach to oil markets: pressuring OPEC to lower global oil prices while promoting "drill, baby, drill” in the states, his regulatory rollbacks and anti-renewable agenda appear to be a bone tossed to U.S. oil companies, clearing the way for fossil fuel development and potentially boosting their bottom lines, even as global oil dynamics remain a tug-of-war.
  16. The honest truth is, I'm not on any social media. Colombia said they would send one specific aircraft, the presidential plane, to pick up their illegal aliens and transport them back home. Petro demanded the illegals be treated "with dignity", adding that he would "never allow Colombians to be returned handcuffed on flights". It appears Petro uses a KC767 (210 person capacity) for international flights, and a Boeing Business Jet (737) for regional flights.
  17. The Colombian government now agrees to allow US military flights carrying deported illegal aliens to land and offload there. Today's events make clear to the world that America is respected again. The tariffs and sanctions which the Trump administration had threatened to impose on Colombia, should it not comply, would be held in reserve, and not signed, unless Colombia fails to honor this agreement. President Trump expects all other nations of the world to fully cooperate in accepting deportation of their citizens illegally present in the United States. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt
  18. President Trump on Sunday issued an executive order establishing a review council, made up of relevant federal leaders and distinguished individuals selected by Trump from outside government. to evaluate FEMA. The council will hold its first public meeting within 90 days, and submit a report to President Trump within 180 days of the first meeting.
  19. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Colombian President Gustavo Petro had initially authorized the deportation flights and then cancelled them "when the planes were in the air." President Trump "has made it clear" that the US will "no longer be lied to nor taken advantage of". Rubio says US sanctions and tariffs to be imposed on Colombia will illustrate that the administration is "unwavering in our commitment to end illegal immigration and bolster America's border security. It is the responsibility of each nation to take back their citizens who are illegally present in the United States in a serious and expeditious manner." The consequences for Colombia in a trade war with the US could be grave, as the US is the Latin American country's number one trading partner. According to the US state department, more than $39.3 billion in bilateral goods and services were exchanged in 2022 with large investments in the mining and manufacturing sectors. The US's primary imports from Colombia include crude oil, coffee, and cut flowers.
  20. Is the Air Force trying to embarrass Trump? Nothing wrong with the Tuskegee Airmen nor the WASPs. Associated Press / January 26, 2025 The Air Force has removed training courses with videos of its storied Tuskegee Airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs), the female World War II pilots who were vital in ferrying warplanes for the military, to comply with the Trump administration’s crackdown on DEI initiatives. The videos were shown to Air Force troops as part of DEI courses they took during basic military training. In a statement, the Air Force confirmed the courses with those videos had been removed and said it “will fully execute and implement all directives outlined in the Executive Orders issued by the President, ensuring that they are carried out with utmost professionalism, efficiency and in alignment with national security objectives.” The problem may not be with the historical videos themselves, but that they were used in Air Force basic military training DEI coursework. However, the lack of clearer guidance has sent the Air Force and other agencies scrambling to take the broadest approach to what content is removed to make sure they are in compliance.
  21. She thinks outside the box. And to win, you must have such people.
  22. Tulsi Gabbard, President Donald Trump’s pick to serve as director of national intelligence, will have a hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday. “I do hope though that we won’t see anyone questioning her patriotism. You know, Hillary Clinton has basically called her a traitor in the past. This is a woman who served more than 20 years in our nation’s army. She’s passed five different background checks. I reviewed the latest one. It’s clean as a whistle. It’s fine for people to have policy differences and ask questions about those differences. I hope no one would impugn Ms. Gabbard’s patriotism or her integrity.” Committee Chair Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.)
  23. President Trump is imposing a 25% tariff on all goods coming from Colombia, to be raised to 50% in one week's time, because Colombian President Gustavo Petro refused to allow two U.S. military illegal immigrant flights (80 prisoners per aircraft) to enter Colombian air space on Sunday and land. President Trump also announced a travel ban and immediate visa revocations on Colombian government officials, and all allies and supporters. All party members, family members, and supporters of the Colombian government also will face visa sanctions. I was just informed that two repatriation flights from the United States, with a large number of Illegal Criminals, were not allowed to land in Colombia. This order was given by Colombia’s Socialist President Gustavo Petro, who is already very unpopular amongst his people. Petro’s denial of these flights has jeopardized the national security and public safety of the United States, so I have directed my administration to immediately take the following urgent and decisive retaliatory measures. These measures are just the beginning, We will not allow the Colombian government to violate its legal obligations with regard to the acceptance and return of the criminals they forced into the United States! President Trump It was reported that Mexico also blocked one flight this week. But on Saturday night, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “Thanks to President Trump: Yesterday, Mexico accepted a record 4 deportation flights in 1 day! This comes in addition to unrestricted returns at the land border, the deportation of non-Mexicans, & reinstatement of Remain-in-Mexico. Mexico has also mobilized 30K National Guard."
