President Trump is imposing a 25% tariff on all goods coming from Colombia, to be raised to 50% in one week's time, because Colombian President Gustavo Petro refused to allow two U.S. military illegal immigrant flights (80 prisoners per aircraft) to enter Colombian air space on Sunday and land. President Trump also announced a travel ban and immediate visa revocations on Colombian government officials, and all allies and supporters. All party members, family members, and supporters of the Colombian government also will face visa sanctions. I was just informed that two repatriation flights from the United States, with a large number of Illegal Criminals, were not allowed to land in Colombia. This order was given by Colombia’s Socialist President Gustavo Petro, who is already very unpopular amongst his people. Petro’s denial of these flights has jeopardized the national security and public safety of the United States, so I have directed my administration to immediately take the following urgent and decisive retaliatory measures. These measures are just the beginning, We will not allow the Colombian government to violate its legal obligations with regard to the acceptance and return of the criminals they forced into the United States! President Trump It was reported that Mexico also blocked one flight this week. But on Saturday night, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “Thanks to President Trump: Yesterday, Mexico accepted a record 4 deportation flights in 1 day! This comes in addition to unrestricted returns at the land border, the deportation of non-Mexicans, & reinstatement of Remain-in-Mexico. Mexico has also mobilized 30K National Guard."

Florida Republican Representative Maria Elvira Salazar has written DHS asking them to spare migrants who entered the country under Biden's humanitarian parole program. Salazar represents a district in Miami-Dade County, which has the highest share of immigrants of any county in the nation (54.3% immigrants and 93% of them were born in Latin America). Salazar asked DHS to protect migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela (CHNV) who entered the country under the CHNV parole process. Per CBP, 531,690 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans arrived under Biden's humanitarian parole program as of December. The Trump administration is giving ICE the power to deport migrants who were allowed into the country temporarily under Biden-era programs including CHNV parole and the CBP One app. (The Biden administration created the CHNV program in January 2023, allowing nationals from those countries to stay in the U.S. temporarily, up to two years, allegedly due to urgent humanitarian reasons and heightened instability. But taking people from those countries is a recipe for trouble. They should have remained and fixed their countries, orchestrating revolutions for better countries they can be proud to call "home".) I strongly urge you to ensure that all Cubans paroled in under the CHNV program eligible for or with pending applications for the Cuban Adjustment Act are protected from deportation until their cases are fully resolved. Additionally, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans, and Haitians who arrived under the CHNV program, have no criminal record, and have applied for asylum through the proper legal channels should also be protected until their cases are fully resolved. Although President Biden originally created this program on dubious legal grounds and brought individuals here without a plan for their future, they were still enrolled under programs offered to them. Maria Elvira Salazar The DHS says: The Biden-Harris Administration abused the humanitarian parole program to indiscriminately allow 1.5 million migrants to enter our country. This was all stopped on day one of the Trump Administration. This action will return the humanitarian parole program to its original purpose of looking at migrants on a case-by-case basis.

The Biden administration pushed through the pork-ridden Inflation Reduction Act in 2022 which included hiring 87,000 more IRS agents. The act had little to do with debt reduction, and the expense of 87,000 new agents would put the country further into debt. On day one, President Trump signed an executive order to stop the hiring of all federal civilian employees until his administration can determine that it is in the national interest to do so. Speaking in Las Vegas today, the President said: They hired, were trying to hire 88,000 new [IRS} workers to go after you, and we're in the process of developing a plan to either terminate all of them or maybe we move them to the border. I think we're going to move them to the border where they are allowed to carry guns. You know, they're so strong on guns. But these people are allowed to carry guns. So we will probably move them to the border.

After years of denial under the Biden administration, the CIA today revealed its belief that COVID-19 was likely leaked from a Chinese lab. CIA assesses that a research-related origin of the COVID-19 pandemic is more likely than a natural origin based on the available body of reporting. Under Biden and COVID czar Anthony Fauci, the government was adamant that the lab leak possibility was nothing more than a conspiracy theory. President Trump's new CIA director, John Ratcliffe, has believed that the virus came from a lab. He testified before the House Select Subcommittee in 2023 that he didn't feel agencies were being fully truthful when it came to the origins of the virus. Speaking then, he said that he and other Trump officials had encountered illegitimate roadblocks when looking into the cause. One of the things that I’ve talked about a lot is addressing the threat from China on a number of fronts, and that goes back to why a million Americans died and why the CIA has been sitting on the sidelines for five years in not making an assessment about the origins of COVID. That´s a day-one thing for me. I've been on record in saying I think our intelligence, our science, and our common sense all really dictate that the origins of COVID was a leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. CIA Director John Ratcliffe

The existing inspector generals are virtually worthless. They may bring a few minor things to light but accomplish next to nothing. The whole system needs to be revamped. They are toothless and protect the institution instead of the citizens. Former Trump lawyer and ally Sidney Powell

The man was impeached twice, he was convicted on 34 felony counts and the American people still said he's closer to normal than what we see on the left. Why? Because when you talk about the transgender community, for example, and you're talking about issues that pertain to less than one percent of the population, the Democratic party came across as if that was more of a priority than other issues. So when he shows up on week one on Capitol Hill, he says "this is what we're going to do through an executive order" even though it's going to be shot down through the courts. But he's saying "I kept my promise". Then you turn around and look at the left and you say "What promises did you keep? What voter out there can look at the Democratic party and say "There's a voice for us, somebody who speaks for us, that goes up on Capitol Hill and fights the fights that we want them fighting on our behalf?". They didn't do that and that's why their behinds are home, and that man is back in the White House. He's doing what he said he was going to do. He promised you he was going to do these things and he walked into office and that's exactly what he's doing. ESPN analyst Stephen Smith

President Trump on Friday demanded that California Democrats require voter ID at the polls, and send more water from Northern California to other parts of the state, in exchange for federal disaster aid. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/01/24/trump-la-disaster-aid-salvo-riles-californias-delegation-00200586

The Karen Bass regime was telling homeowners they had to wait 18 months to rebuild. She wanted a long drawn out haz-mat show. President Trump said these people want to rent a dumpster and start tonight. He easily embarrassed her, forcing her to say the homeowners could start cleaning up their properties immediately and begin reconstruction. Had the President not gone to LA, those homeowners would be suffering thru 18 months of California bureaucracy. .

President Trump on Friday fired the inspectors general at 17 agencies for failing to do their job. The agencies include the departments of defense, state, transportation, veterans affairs, housing and urban development, interior, and energy. Department of Justice inspector general Michael Horowitz was spared. The Democrat-run Washington Post is whining the firings "appeared to violate federal law, which requires congress to receive 30 days notice of any intent to fire the inspectors general."

President Trump's chief of staff, Suzie Wiles, is being a prick towards Elon Musk simply because his style is incorrect according to her way of thinking. Now, she refuses to provide Elon with an office in the West Wing. Elon can out think Wiles or anyone else on the team. The President already has come to depend on Elon's intellectual depth. If it gets down to the "Ice Maiden" versus "First Buddy", Wiles will be history. She's better change her stance ASAP.

JFK warned that “The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secrecy … We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.” The 60-year strategy of lies and secrecy, disinformation, censorship, and defamation employed by Intel officials to obscure and suppress troubling facts about JFK’s assassination has provided the playbook for a series of subsequent crises — the MLK and RFK assassinations, Vietnam, 9/11, the Iraq war and COVID — that have each accelerated the subversion of our exemplary democracy by the Military/Medical Industrial Complex and pushed us further down the road toward totalitarianism. “A nation that does not trust its people is a nation that is afraid of its people.” A government that withholds information is inherently fearful of its citizens’ ability to make informed decisions and participate actively in democracy. Thank you, President Trump for trusting American citizens and for taking the first step down the road towards reversing this disastrous trajectory. The Trump administration announced Friday that it is expanding a fast-track deportation authority nationwide, allowing immigration officers to deport migrants without appearing before a judge. Meanwhile in New Jersey, Newark Mayor Ras Barakaover is whining over what he says was improper arrests of illegal aliens by federal immigration officers at a local business. I was appalled, upset, angry that this could happen here, in this state, in this country. We’re going to fight for all of our residents in this city, no matter what that looks like for us. Newark Mayor Ras Barakaover Per Biden, Barakaover is being a good democrat.

I cannot but agree with President Trump that if he had been president, if his victory had not been stolen from him in 2020, then perhaps there would not have been the crisis in Ukraine that arose in 2022. He is not only a smart person, but a pragmatic person. I have a hard time imagining there will be decisions taken that are detrimental to the American economy. As for the issue of negotiations, we have always said, and I want to emphasize this once again, that Russia is ready for these negotiations on Ukrainian issues. Vladimir Putin

U.S. lawmakers introduced a bipartisan bill on Thursday that would revoke China's preferential trade status with the United States, phase in steep tariffs and end the "de minimis" exemption for low-value Chinese imports. The bill, introduced by John Moolenaar, the Republican chair of the House of Representatives' select committee on China, comes after President Trump issued a memo on Monday asking his cabinet to assess legislation on the Permanent Normal Trade Relations (PNTR) designation for Beijing. Congress approved PNTR for China in 2000 under Bill Clinton, paving the way for its entry into the World Trade Organization. But the U.S. has routinely found the large role of the state in China's economy, including hefty government subsidies for strategic industries, to violate the global trade body's rules. "This gamble failed. This legislation will safeguard U.S. national security, enhance supply chain resilience, and bring manufacturing jobs back to America and our allies," says Moolenaar. Trump, who has railed against China's vast trade surplus with the U.S., has vowed more duties on Chinese goods. Moolenaar's Restoring Trade Fairness Act was co-sponsored by Democratic Representative Tom Suozzi and introduced with a companion bill in the Senate. Moolenaar says granting China PNTR ushered in waves of Chinese imports, depleted U.S. manufacturing and made the U.S. susceptible to economic coercion from its foremost adversary.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered the State Department to cease the "X" gender option on passport applications. The policy of the United States is that an individual's sex is not changeable. A person's 'sex' should be used in official government documents, including passports and consular reports of birth abroad documents. Marco Rubio
