In the video, it appears that the alleged Army Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter rammed into the back of the American Airlines aircraft that was on final approach into Reagan National.(AA 5342 from Wichita, a PSA-operated CRJ700). https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14340645/Plane-crashes-Reagan-National-Airport-Washington.html https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14341493/How-disaster-Potomac-unfolded-Washington-American-Airlines-helicopter-crash.html

This Tuesday evening, the Trump administration began sending emails to two million federal workers offering buyouts, a chance to voluntarily vacate their positions, if they refuse to return to the office. Employees who accept the terms were being offered the chance to go on administrative leave through September 30th at full pay, a rather generous offer they should accept. .

They criminally enter another country.............and then whine to the media that they were treated poorly in the course of being thrown out. They still have no remorse for their illegal action. Or perhaps they're simply clueless. Unreal. And Colombian President Petro wants these lawbreakers to be treated with "dignity and respect." . https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14335167/Shaken-migrants-deported-Trump-issue-warning.html

And the sad thing is it might all be true. Per House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast (R-Fla.): $15 million worth of taxpayer funds to buy contraceptives like condoms for the Taliban. $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia. $32,000 of transgender comic books for Peru. $50 million worth of condoms for Gaza (really ???) Funding drag shows to Ecuador at $20,000 a clip. Atheism to Nepal at half a million dollars for a grant https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14334647/donald-trump-condoms-gaza-trans-operas-colombia-foreign-spending.html

So Caroline Kennedy waits until the day before her cousin's confirmation hearing to trash him. And all these months, she was not motivated to say a word.

And about those drones...............................
kscarbel2 replied to kscarbel2's topic in Odds and Ends
I don't believe it. At the very least, I can say those craft demonstrated flying characteristics that no amateur or commercial drone is capable of. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-14334821/donald-Trump-New-Jersey-drones-REALLY-research.html Remember, the FBI alleged it did not know who was behind the flying objects. The military alleged it was not responsible. . -

It is still valid. It's absolutely a nervy play, but if you knew all that China and Russia were doing up there, then you would make an attempt for it as well.

This is complicated. And remember, the UK has the right of first refusal to buying Greenland (Mark Felton explains below). I know we used it extensively in the war as an aircraft stopover. And all the major powers have been busy busy staking territory claims throughout the Arctic. Strategically, having Alaska AND Greenland would give our military a very strategic stance. Canada is great, but they can't afford to militarily enforce their vast, vast northern lands. The easiest way would be for the locals to vote for US ownership. Our selling point would be we'll improve your quality of life, unlike the current status quo. .

On Monday, President Trump suspended 57 government officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development for trying to circumvent his executive order on freezing all foreign aid. We have identified several actions within USAID that appear to be designed to circumvent the President's Executive orders and the mandate from the American people. As a result, we have placed a number of USAID employees on administrative leave with full pay and benefits until further notice. USAID acting administrator Jason Gray President Trump must find a way to gut the union, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) that represents most federal government employees (aside from postal). The AFGE is a root cause of government inefficiency.

A leaked memo states that President Trump has temporarily paused all federal grant, loan and other financial assistance programs. In the interim, to the extent permissible under applicable law, federal agencies must temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all federal financial assistance. The pause applies to all other relevant agency activities that may be impacted by the executive orders, including, but not limited to, financial assistance for foreign aid, non-governmental organizations, DEI, woke gender ideology, and the green new deal. Acting director of the Office of Management and Budget Matthew Vaeth The White House budget office has ordered federal agencies to temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance, but does not affect Social Security, Medicare benefits nor assistance provided directly to individuals. The suspension goes into effect today at 5pm EST. Agencies have until February 10 to submit detailed information on any programs, projects or activities subject to the pause. The suspension provides the administration with time to review agency programs and determine the best uses of funding for those programs consistent with the law and Trump's priorities. Agencies must identify legally mandated actions or deadlines for assistance programs before completing the analysis. The problem is, this should not have been leaked. This time around, there can't be leaks. The individual(s) who leaked the memo must be made an example of.

I have no doubt Secretary Hegseth will correct and get to the bottom of the malicious compliance we’ve seen in recent days. President Trump celebrated and honored the Tuskegee Airmen during his first term. Senator Katie Britt R-AL Amen! We’re all over it, Senator. This will not stand. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth

On Monday, President Trump signed an executive order for the immediate construction of an Iron Dome-like shield for the United States, calling it a top priority. The U.S. will immediately begin the construction of a state-of-the-art Iron Dome missile defense shield, which will be able to protect Americans. Americans protect other countries, but we don't protect ourselves. The President mentioned that President Reagan was interested in such a system during the Cold War but the U.S. didn't have the technology. And now we have phenomenal technology. You see that with Israel. So I think the United States is entitled to that. And everything will be made right here in the USA 100%.

Oklahoma proposes requiring parents to provide proof of citizenship when enrolling students. Schools are crippled by the flood of illegal immigrants and the Biden/Harris open border policy. Oklahomans and the country elected President Trump and we will do everything possible to help put Oklahoma students first. Republican State Superintendent (education chief) Ryan Walters

Do any BMT members in Vermont have more details ? A Washington state woman has been charged in the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Vermont, which happened days after authorities began watching her and a German companion who also died in the roadside shootout. Teresa Youngblut, 21, faces two weapons charges in connection with the murder of Border Patrol Agent David Maland, 44, who died Monday during the shootout in Coventry, a small town 20 miles from the Canadian border. According to an FBI affidavit, a border agent pulled over Youngblut and German national Felix Bauckholt on Interstate 91 to conduct an immigration inspection. At the time, Bauckholt appeared to have an expired visa, according to a DHS database. Youngblut, who had been driving Bauckholt's car, got out and opened fire on Maland and other officers without warning. Bauckholt tried to draw a gun but was shot. At least one border agent fired on Youngblut and Bauckholt. Investigators had been performing “periodic surveillance” of Youngblut and Bauckholt since January 14th after an employee at a hotel where they were staying reported concerns after seeing Youngblut carrying a gun, and she and Bauckholt wearing black tactical gear. Investigators tried to question the pair, who said they were in the area looking to buy property but declined to have an extended conversation. About two hours before the shooting, investigators watched Bauckholt exit a Walmart in Newport (north of Coventry) with two packages of aluminum foil. Then he was seen wrapping unidentifiable objects while seated in the passenger seat. During a search of the car after the shootout, authorities found cellphones wrapped in foil, a ballistic helmet, night-vision goggles, respirators and ammunition. They also found a package of shooting range targets, including some that had been used, two-way radios, about a dozen “electronic devices,” travel and lodging information for multiple states, and an apparent journal.

It has been reported that, in her youth, LA Mayor Karen Bass praised Fidel Castro and had close associations with Cuba. She traveled to Cuba in 1973 with an organization called the Venceremos Brigade to see Castro speak. In 2016, when Castro died, she referred to him as 'commandante en jefe' (commander-in-chief) saying his passing was a 'great loss to the people of Cuba.' She also reportedly gave a eulogy for a senior member of the Communist Party USA.

The Trump administration has frozen the Department of Energy's activities pending a comprehensive review of its alignment with his priorities. A memo from acting Energy Secretary Ingrid Kolb says the freeze affects grants, loans, procurement, studies, and even personnel decisions, effectively bringing the agency’s $50 billion budget to a standstill. The halt is a direct shot at dismantling Biden-era climate policies. The DOE’s Loan Programs Office, holding $41.2 billion in conditional commitments to energy technology companies, now finds its purse strings tightly cinched. Other critical missions, like nuclear waste cleanup and maintenance of emergency crude reserves, are similarly on pause. The order mirrors an earlier Trump directive freezing funds tied to Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act and a bipartisan infrastructure law, both of which allocated billions for clean energy initiatives. Trump has made it clear that climate-focused spending is no longer a federal priority. The Interior Department issued a similar freeze on wind and solar project leases on federal lands and waters. While critics, including U.S. oil companies, have highlighted the President's seemingly contradictory approach to oil markets: pressuring OPEC to lower global oil prices while promoting "drill, baby, drill” in the states, his regulatory rollbacks and anti-renewable agenda appear to be a bone tossed to U.S. oil companies, clearing the way for fossil fuel development and potentially boosting their bottom lines, even as global oil dynamics remain a tug-of-war.

The honest truth is, I'm not on any social media. Colombia said they would send one specific aircraft, the presidential plane, to pick up their illegal aliens and transport them back home. Petro demanded the illegals be treated "with dignity", adding that he would "never allow Colombians to be returned handcuffed on flights". It appears Petro uses a KC767 (210 person capacity) for international flights, and a Boeing Business Jet (737) for regional flights.
