  2. As a matter of fact JD, the show is held twice a year in Brownsville, PA. The grounds are located only a few miles off of I-70 and PA Turnpike 43.

  4. I'll be there Sunday afternoon. It's truely a fantastic show! If you're from western Pennsylvania and enjoy old iron, you really should do yourself a favor and go, it's awesome! I can't say enough good words about the National Pike show!

  10. everything on that truck is fixed...like it would with a stock bumper and name plate...the guard clears the hood when it opens

  13. Here are a few quick pics of Diamond Y Enterprise new Granite oilfield water truck... for your viewing pleasure!
  14. Yes, that was my green and white Mack aswell. I use Model Master's paint also...works the best for me!
  15. This Mack was done in the colors of L&J Equipment from Uniontown, PA. Back when coal stripping was booming in the 70's, L&J had two DM800 tractor's that pulled both dump trailers and lowboys when needed, along with a large fleet of DM800 and DM600 dump trucks. One of the tractors, #10, is still around, while the second #20 has since also be converted to a tandem dump truck. My father worked for the company, which was part owned by an uncle of his, until 1989; so we thought it would be fun to do the old DM like the trucks he drove. I do not have any photos of the old tractors, but I did also throw in a few of one of the old DM600's, #14...so you have an idea! Ya gotta love the old days...Thanks for checking it out!
