    The real id requirement goes into affect sometime in October of this year. In California you can still get a standard DL but would have to use a passport to travel by airplane if you don’t get the real id

    He told it to me directly Saturday about being red tagged for no brake lights and when he was fixing the switch he had to put his toolbox on top of the tire so they would see the cut. He just wanted to get to the next truck stop so he could replace it.

    I wonder if this is the reason my valve cover is leaking After degreasing the valve covers today I noticed the the rear valve cover is not sitting squarely on the jake brake riser. The bolts on this valve cover were only hand tight

    If you have a spare can you could take him the cab or you could make a template of the firewall and give him that.

    Do to a knee injury I can not use knee pads but have been forced to use kneeling pads for the last 25 or so years I have found that even a piece of corrugated cardboard helps a lot

    I think I found the speedometer issue. The drive tang was broken off and stuck in the transmission The valve cover gaskets should arrive tomorrow afternoon

    I just ordered a tan national captain mid back for my 1975 RS685 It’s going on an old national low profile base just like the passenger seat

    The speedometer is not working Are there any typical problems on a Mack? How do you disconnect the cable from the back of the speedometer?
