  1. I don't even like using the ATM....if a company was going to make me use a kiosk to order my own parts for my truck, I'd be trading it in for another brand....one which still had parts in stock & people available to hand 'em to me.
  2. ...wonder if she was cravin' them chikkin nuggits...
  3. I heard air horns are useful in getting them up out of your way....
  4. I've got an old 8N I need to get running again....it ain't nothing fancy like that, though.
  5. Absolutely....if I had $1 for every time someone asked me when I was going to get a new truck now that I've finished paying off the one I've got, I could afford truck payments again. I look at it this way: I could spend a guaranteed $800+ per month on a truck payment....and I'd still have regular maintenance expenses and an OCCASIONAL repair bill... ....or I could just have the regular maintenance and an OCCASIONAL repair bill. Besides, I've had this truck nearly 4 years now and it's still not 100% set up the way I want it.....why the hell would I want to start over again from scratch? Even without a truck payment factored in, that isn't a very appealing idea.
  6. No problem. Click the "more reply options" button at the bottom of the page. Then, when the page changes and you see the reply box, right below where you're typing should be a paperclip with "Attach Files" heading. Click the "Browse" button and find the file on your computer...then click "Attach This File". You can repeat the "Browse" and "Attach This File" as needed to attach multiple pictures.
  7. We can't see local files on your computer....gonna have to either attach 'em or upload 'em somewhere else and link to 'em.
  8. Just when you think you've seen it all.....
  9. Estimated Age = 51 Years ...I'll be 33 in a couple weeks.
  10. I gotta call on that one....There is no such thing as "too many trucks in the yard".
  11. Speaking of ex-presidents..... Fox News has a story on the website today about John Tyler....America's 10th President....as in served between William Henry Harrison & James K. Polk...President of these United States of America 20 years before Abraham Lincoln assumed the position.....yeah, THAT John Tyler.... He has 2 grandchildren who are still alive.... That's a lot of years separating only a generation or two. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that there are still people alive today who's grandfather was born in 1790...only 3 years after our Constitution was signed!
  12. Yup....ABSOLUTELY spend the money on the Lincoln grease gun. DO NOT waste your money on "cheaper" immitations like I did. I've got 3 other air-powered grease guns that don't work for crap....the Lincoln works as reliably as my old trusty manual squeeze grease gun, but without all the hand cramps from squeezing that damn thing a gazillion times to grease the millions of damn grease fittings these trucks seem to have....
  13. Kid's prolly scarred for life now....
  14. That's what I had heard, too...didn't catch if it was a current relationship with the mother or a former relationship with the mother. Still, though....bust in the door, shoot the mayor, go to the cop shop to turn yourself in......and then plead NOT GUILTY!
  15. ...guy walks into the police station and informs the police that he had just shot & killed the mayor. Cops go to the mayor's house and find him shot dead. Of course, the guy is arrested.... .....and then he pleads "NOT GUILTY" at his arraignment. True story....happened not too far from here down in Hickman, KY....been on the news all day.
  16. I've got that exact sign in my bedroom window. Got another one that says "No trespassing. Violators will be shot. Survivors will be shot again." And another one that says "Nevermind the dog. Beware of owner!" And another one...and another one....and another one.... I wonder why nobody ever stops by?
  17. Quite the opposite. The Gold Bulldog on the hood means it is has the Mack engine, Mack transmission, and Mack rear ends.
  18. Is this made from real lemons? Yes. I only like all-natural foods and beverages, organically grown, with no preservatives. Are you sure they're real lemons? Yes. Well, I'll tell you what. I'll buy a cup if you buy a box of my delicious Girl Scout cookies. Do we have a deal? Are they made from real Girl Scouts?
  19. I kinda like this one, too....
  20. When I first started driving T/T's, I had one on the back of the truck that said "If you can read this, I've lost my trailer" I thought it was funny....the shop, not so much. They removed it. Another one I've seen:
  21. If the bank is open, I go inside and deal with a person. Only time I use an ATM is if the bank isn't open. I never use the drive-through....usually have to walk up to it anyway since the truck won't fit.I just pre I just prefer dealing with people face to face.
  22. Don't be teasin' us.....post the pic or it didn't happen!
  23. Why the roadranger transmision? Why not the T318? If you're going to buy a Mack...especially to run heavy & off road in the mines & quarries, why wouldn't you spec it with Mack components?
  24. I remember growing up....learning about the San Andreas Fault....hearing about "the big one" that would knock Calif***ya off into the Pacific.... ....I'm still waiting. Starting to think maybe my teachers were lying.
