  1. I WATCH THAT SHOW. I LIKE THE "GRAPPLER" AND MACK DUMP TRUCKS. HOPE TO SE A NEW MACK TITAN ON THE "NEXT SEASON"
  2. NICE LOOKING MACK TITAN. SURE IS A STRONG COMPETITOR FOR THE HEAVY HAUL. WE WILL SEE OUR FIRST TITAN HERE IN OUR LOCAL MACK DEALER AS RUMORS BEING TOLD TO ME CALL FOR THE FIRST MACK TITAN TRI-DRIVE XLE DUMP TRUCK THAT WILL ARRIVE AT OUR MACK DEALER VERY SOON. HOPE TO TAKE PICTURES OF IT AND POST THEM HERE.
  3. AWESOME LOOKING RIG!!!!! ENJOY YOUR RIDE.....
  4. THIS IS A TESTAMENT OF THE POWER OF THE MACK E6 ENGINE. NOT ONLY IT HAS BEEN A TRUE HARD WORKER, NOW IT IS A TRUE SPEED PERFORMER. THIS MACK R685 FROM PAITO'S TRUCKING IS CAPABLE OF BLASTING THE 1/4 MILE IN 15.78 SECONDS WITH ALL MACK DIESEL POWER (NO NITROUS) name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> SOON WE WILL HELD OUR 2009 DIESEL NATIONALS AND TRUCK EXPO, AND THE PAITO'S TRUCKING CREW WILL INSTALL A NITROUS SYSTEM ON THE MACK E6 ENGINE TO GET THIS BAD DOG INTO THE 14 SECONDS ZONE. THIS TRUCK RUNS ON THE MODIFIED STREET TRUCK CLASS NOT BAD FOR A STREET WORKING TRUCK!!!!
  5. I do hope that the soon to come "new" MAXXIPILLAR 15 Engine does go the SCR way just to see what the heck NAVISTAR is going to say. Some folks talk about the "2010 NAVISTAR DOMINATION", but I do not see them dominating. NAVISTAR will not have CATERPILLAR and CUMMINS big engines for its line of "trucks" so... their HEAVY DUTY LINE will be on hold until the "new" MAXIPILLAR engine cames on. SCR will bring les DPF REGEN events and less DPF FILTER REPLACEMENT add that to the FUEL ECONOMY IMPROVEMENT and we have to look to the future with no fear.
  6. I JUST THINK IT IS TIME TO PUT AN END TO THIS TOPIC, OR LOCK IT FOR SURE. AT FIRST I DID NOT LIKED THE IDEA OF MY MACK BULL DOG LOOSING ITS PEDIGREE. BUT AS I THINK FORWARD....WHERE THE MACK TRUCK BRAND WILL BE IF IT WASN'T FOR VOLVO???? THE MACK TRUCK BRAND HAS EVOLVED AND WE HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE OF MACK TRUCKS. WILL MACK TRUCKS STAY COMPETITIVE IF THEY STAY WITH THE OLDER ENGINE PLATFORMS E6 /E7 /E9 AND THE OLDER TRUCK MODELS????? THE GRANITE TRUCK SERIES IS AN GREAT PRODUCT. AND MACK TRUCKS CONTINUES TO BE A STRONG LEADER HERE IN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTION. THANKFULLY OUR DEALER SPEC THE TRUCKS WITH MACK CAMELL BACK SUSPENSSIONS AND MACK REAR AXLES. DEALER IS HELPING OWNERS WITH DPF AND ELECTRONIC ISSUES. SO WE CAN CLEAR THE FUTURE FOR THIS TRUCK BRAND. THERE WILL BE AN INTERESTING OPEN HOUSE OR CLINIC AT OUR LOCAL DEALER, ABOUT EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT HTE SCR SYSTEMS (THANKS TO THE BOGUS ANTI SCR CAMPAING OF NAVISTAR) AND DAVE Mc KENNA JUST INVITED ME TO THAT OPEN HOUSE. SO TRUE MACK ENTHUSIAST WE NEED TO SUPPORT OR FAVORITE TRUCK BRAND AND DO NOT LET THE ANTI SCR CAMPAING GET INTO YOU. DOES NAVISTAR OFER A PRODUCT THAT BEATS A MACK PRODUCT???? NO!!!! (WELL, MAYBE SCHOOL BUSES)
  7. You will be surprised to know that in a recent ranking of class 6 and 7 TRUCKS done by a mayor MAGAZINE, HINO TRUCKS came in first place (yahhhh beatting INTERNATIONAL!!!) The quality of their engine, low cost of ownership (mantainance), fuel economy and reliability were impresive on HINO TRUCKS. Now that TOYOTA will get some of its tentacles on ISUZU DIESEL the TOYOTA /HINO DIESEL TECHNOLOGY will evolve. You are not the only one wishing HINO (TOYOTA) to make the big sstep in helping an AMERICAN manufacturer of DIESEL ENGINES and TRUCKS, BLUE BIRD BUS CO...is thinkering with that idea.....
  8. I am one of those people who still has faith in the MACK TRUCKS brand. All mayor truck brands are having issues with the EMISSIONS EQUIPMENT. And now we have INTERNATIONAL trashing everyone else because the SCR VS "Advanced EGR" battle. I find so stupid of some people the claim that they will buy an INTERNATIONAL (INTERTRASHIONAL) truck just so they do not deal with DEF...How stupid. A great truck is not one with a non SCR engine.
  9. NEVER SEEN A MACK SUPERLINER LIKE THIS ONE...
  10. There are some pictures of KILLER MACK'S E9 engine. This is a modified truck that competes in the HOT ROD SEMI CLASS at the PRO-PULLING events. KILLER MACK SUPERLINER E9. JERRY KISSINGER'S SHOW AND SHINE 1991 MACK SUPERLINER. (MAKE A WISH MACK TRUCK) MACK TRUCKS E9 OVERHAUL MANUAL MACK E9 ENGINE AT A SCRAP YARD. BANDAG TITAN (AUSSTRALIAN RACE TRUCK) MACK E9 ENGINE BUCKEYE BULLDOG'S 4000 HP MACK E9!!!!!!!!!!! MACK RW700 WITH MACK E9... DIRECT LINK TO A E9 ENGINE FOR SALE (3 MOTION PICTURES) IT REALLY SHOWS SOME DETAILS. http://www.truckhub.com.au/Tig/UI/PhotoSli...&p=19995339 HOPE THIS HELPS YOU A LOT...
  11. I will like to do a DRAG RCING TRUCK for the MODIFIED STREET TRUCK class. On this category TRUCK must remain on its STREET look (complete cab, interiors, exhaust system, fuell tanks, fift wheel) engine coul be modified with 2 turbo chargers or the use of NITROUS system. If i fit a E6 engine it should be on the factory location of the stock engine. On the FUNNY TRUCK class I can even put a E9 V8 engine on the chassis at the back of the cab of the truck. But this will be very comlicated. LIGHT FUNNY TRUCK CLASS-Perfect for such platform MACK CS250 LOW PROFILE TRUCK. I can even tweak the smaller CS ENGINE (CALLAED E3 ENGINE BY SOME DEALERS) use even smaller wheels to get the truck to the ground. I have some ideas on my mind for this
  12. HELLO TO ALL MY FELLOW ENTHUSIASTS. GUYS I CAME ACROSS ONE LITTLE MACK, A MACK CS250. IT WAS A LOW PROFILE TRUCK. I WANT TO KNOW THE PRODUCTION DATES FOR THAT KIND OF MACK TRUCK MODEL (CS 200 /CS250 /CS300). AND WHAT KIND OF ENGINE DO THEY HAVE. I HAVE SEEN PICTURES OF THEIR RENAULT COUNTERPARTS RACING IN EUROPE. MACK CS 250 MACK-RENAULT CS RACE TRUCKS. IF I GET MY HANDS ON ONE OF THOSE MACK CS TRUCKS... CAN I FIT (WITH MODIFICATIOS OF COURSE) A MACK E6 , EM6 OR EVEN A E9 ENGINE ON IT ???????
  13. ONE OF THE BEST AUTOCAR TRUCKS I HAVE EVER SEEN. I SEE THEM ON THE ROAD VERY OFTEN. HEAVY SPEC AUTOCAR DUMP AND TRACTOR TRUCKS. THEY ARE STRONG.
  14. IF WE LOVE MACK TRUCKS SO MUCH. NO MATTER THE MACK EVOLUTION TROUGHT THE VOLVO GROUP, WE AS CUSTOMERS CAN MAKE OUR VOICE BE HEARD. YOU WANT MACK TO KEEP IT'S REPUTABLE DRIVE COMPONENTS SUCH AS AXLES, DIFERENTIALS, TRANSMISSIONS AND SUSPENSION???? WHAT ABOUT KEEPING THE MACK CABS ?????? WELL JUST GO TO YOUR E-MAIL AND SEND AN E-MAIL TO: customer.satisfaction@macktrucks.com HERE YOU CAN SEND ALL YOUR QUESTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS. HE HAVE TO DO IT TOGETHER.
  15. HERE ARE SOME VIDEOS ABOUT TRUCKS AT THE DIESEL NATIONALS DRAG RACES. PAITO'S TRUCKING, A MODIFIED STREET TRUCK THAT RUNS A BEST E.T OF 15.25 (STREET TRUCK) name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> DUMONT TRANSPORT, A PURPOSE BUILT DRAG RACING MACK TRUCK IN THE FUNNY TRUCK CLASS. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> OLD MACK R600 BEATS MODERN VOLVO. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> MACK DUMP TRUCKS (3 MACKS 1 KENWORTH) ARRIVING AT THE TRUCK SHOW name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> IPM TRANSPORT ARRIVING AT THE TRUCK SHOW (3 MACKS AND 2 KENWORTHS) 2 REALLY NICE MACK R TRUCKS HERE. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  16. Well you can go to my GALLERY to see more nice MACK R TRUCKS from PUERTO RICO. I know you will enjoy them. But it is nice to see that kind of OVERCHROME on MACKS and to park them side to side with KENWORTH Trucks. Lot of KW TRUCKS on shows that you know all that can be done to them, but to show up in a TRUCK SHOW with a MACK R Model all customized sets you apart.
  17. I DO NOT THINK THE MACK BAND WILL GO OFF. BUT I DO NOT LIKE TO THINK THAT THE CABS WILL BE REPLACD BY VOLVO CABS. EWWWWWWW LETS PRAY AND HOPE FOR THE VOLVO /MACK DIVORCE. FORD IS GETTIG RID OF MAZDA AND VOLVO I HOPE MACK TRUCKS COULD MERGE STRONG OUT OF VOLVO CORPORATE AND BECOME THE TRUCK IT WAS BEFORE.
  18. HI MUÑOZ JR TRANSPORT. HERE IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF PUERTO RICO I HAVE SEEN ANOTHER OF THOSE DIAMOND REO TRUCK LIKE YOURS. IT IS A RED ONE WITH THE NAME PADILLA IN FRONT OF IT. MAYBE YOU KNOW HIM.
  19. WELL THEY SHOULD CALL IT MAXXIPILLAR THANKS CATERPILLAR!!!!! AND NOW FORR THE "CAT" IDENTITY CRISIS.... COMPLETE NAME IS CATERPILLAR IN REFERENCE TO THAT SLIMMY WORM THAT CLIMBS EVERY WALL. BUT THEY SHORTEN IT TO "CAT" IN REFERENCE TO FELINES. NICE KITY.... SO WILL THE MAXXIPILLAR SPORT SCR OR ADVANCED EGR ????? ONCE AGAIN CATERPILLAR (CAT) IS GIVING UP TO EPA'S RESTRICTIONS
  20. MAYBE WE WILL SEE MACK TITAN CAPITALIZING THE MARKET THAT NOW CATERPILLAR LEAVES BEHIND ON THE TRUCKING SCENE. THE MAYOR PART OF KENWORTH LOYALISTS ARE INDEED CATERPILLAR LOYALISTS. SO WITH NO MORE BIG CATERPILLAR ENGINES ON KENWORTH TRUCKS, THOSE KW/CAT FANS WILL MOVE TO ANY TRUCK MANUFACTURER WHO OFFER THEM A BIG AND POWERFULL ENGINE TO DO BIG JOBS. I THINK THIS IS A GOOD OPORTUNITY FOR MACK TO CAPITALIZE ON THAT SITUATION, SO FORMER KW/CAT CUSTOMERS COULD BE COVERED BY MACK TITAN. OR WILL THEY JUST LIKE TO WORK WITH THE MAXXIPILLAR ENGINE???????????
  21. HELLO TO ALL MY FELLOW ENTHUSIASTS. THE E9 ENGINE (V8) HAS QUITE MADE AN IMPACT HERE IN OUR LOCAL "TRUCK DRAG RACING SCENE" IN WICH I HAVE DEUCATED SOME FELLOW MACK TRUCK OWNERS ABOUT THE POWER OF EXTREME E9 ENGINES BUILT FOR SOME TRACTOR PULLING" COMPETITION. WITH PERFORMERS LIKE "BUCKEYE BULL DOG" (THEY CLAIM TO HAVE A 4000+ HP MACK E9 ENGINE) BANDAG TITAN (AUSTRALIAN DRAG RIG WITH A 2000 HP E9) AND KILLER MACK (MACK SUPERLINER WITH AN E9 2000 HP ENGINE) SOME OF MY FRIENDS ARE GETTING INTERESTED IN THIS KIND OF MACK ENGINE. SO. WHAT ARE THE SPECIFICATION AND PRODUCTION DATES FOR THE MACK E9 ENGINE? WICH MACK MODLES HAVE THE E9 ENGINE FROM FACTORY? CAN E9 ENGINES BE FITTED INTO MACK R600 /R685 MODELS???? THE GUYS RACING TRUCKS WITH BIG V8 DETROIT ENGINES (WICH USE NITROSUS AND 2 TURBOCHARGERS) DO NOT WANT ME TO EDUCATE OTHERS (SPECIALLY MACK FANS) ABOUT THAT THE E9 ENGINE COULD BE AN OPTION TO COMPETE AGINST THE DETROIT DIESEL POWERED DRAG RACING RIGS. SO ONE OF THE DETROIT FANS SEND ME AN E-MAIL IN WICH HE STATED THAT THE E9 IS MACK'S WORST ENGINE. WAS THE E9 THE WORST MACK ENGINE? DO THE E9 GIVE MANY PROBLEMS? E9 VS DETROIT 8V92- WICH ONE IS BETTER ? (FOR WORK AND MOTORSPORTS PERFORMANCE) ARE THE DETROIT FANS SCARE THAT I AM SHOWING THE POWER OF THE E9??? ANY INFO ON THE E9 ENGINE ND THE TUNNERS OF THOSE BIG MACK RIGS WITH BIG MACK E9 POWER WILL BE APRECCIATED
  22. Can anyone do an in-full real study about SCR vs ADVANCED EGR ????? One truck company claims: Next year you'll have two choices when you purchase a vehicle: a vehicle that reduces emissions in the engine cylinder (advanced EGR), and a vehicle that reduces emissions by adding a second fuel (urea) through an after-treatment system (SCR). With the advanced EGR solution, operating and maintenance requirements don't change for your drivers or mechanics. Compare this to the SCR solution, where changes include significant add-on after-treatment equipment, additional attention from your drivers and new maintenance and servicing requirements for your technicians. With SCR, the burden on you is clear, and that's why we believe advanced EGR just makes sense. has selected to o with SELECTIVE CATALITYC REDUCTION. Competitor is on camping to scare people about technologies such as SCR. Please do a complete TOPIC about this theme. I WOULD GO WITH SINCE I DO NOT LIKE ANY PRODUCT THAT "COMPETITOR" MAKES
  23. THANKS FOR THE INFO ON AUTOMATICS. I SURE AM ONE OF THOSE GUYS WHO READ THE INSTRCUTION MANUALS THAT COME WITH ANY EQUIPMENT. ONE OF MY GUYS RUINED AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ON A LITTLE TRUCK. (UD NISSAN DIESEL) WICH WAS HIS MISTAKE? FILLING THE TRANNY WITH THE WRONG OIL TYPE. SO HE OVER-COOKED IT. I AM VERY STRINGENT WITH THE MESSURES THAT I TOOK WITH PROPER EQUIPMENT MANTAINANCE. FOR THE AUTOMATIC MACK. I AM HELPING ONE OF MY FRIENDS, HE DRIVES A HUGE "COMPETITION" TRUCK WITH A HUGE SLEEPER AND A 53 FOOT VAN TRAILER. HE DELIVERS SUPLIES AND GROCERIES. NOW WE ARE MOVING INTO WHAT I CALL "ECONOMICS OF SCALE" THAT IS THE TRANSITION TO A SMALLER SINGLE AXLE TRACTOR (MACK PINNACLE-CH HOOD???) AND A 30 FOOT LONG REFEER /DRY VAN TRAILER. WHY THIS CHANGE???? WELL OF COURSE TO SAVE SOME $$$$$$ HE DOES NOT NEED A HUGE TRUCK WITH A MONSTROUS HORSEPOWER ENGINE. AND NOW LARGE TRAILERS ARE BEING REPLACED BY SMALLER ONES, THUS THE CHANGE FROM A 53 FOOT TRAILER TO A 30 FOOOT TRAILER. AND HE DOES NOT NEED THE HUGE TRUCK TO PULL A SMALL TRAILER. SO AN ENGINE WITH MODEST HORSEPOWER RANGE (325-485) AND A SINGLE AXLE TRACTOR WITH A 30 FOOT TRAILER WILL BE A PERFECT COMBO. IF TRUCK AND TRAILER ARE SINGLE AXLE THAT TRANSLATES TO SAVING SOME $$$$$$ AT THE TOLL (THE MORE AXLES A COMBINATION VEHICLE HAS, THE MORE IT PAYS AT THE TOLL) IF HE DOES NOT WANT THE AUTOMATIC.... CAN HE STILL GET A 5 SPEED MANUAL MACK TRANNY???????
  24. READING THE RECENT BULLDOG MAGAZINE I NOTICE SOME STORIES ABOUT MACK TRUCKS THAT SPORT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. I FIGURE THAT IF I GO TO BUY A SINGLE AXLE TRACTOR TO PULL A 30 FOOT TRAILER I SHOULD TRY GOING AUTOMATIC. BUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY CLAIM THAT WITH AUTOMATICS YOU SAVE ON BRAKES, WHEN YOU HAVE TO GO HEAVY ON THE BRAKES ON AN AUTOMATIC APLICATION. WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION YOU JUST SHIFT-DOWN TO SLOW DOWN THE TRUCK. ARE THE AUTOMATICS A GOOD IDEA FOR A SINGLE AXLE TRACTOR THAT IS GOING TO PULL A 30 FOOT LONG TRAILER OR FLAT-BED ????
