  1. I hear a rumor that some Tesla employee checks were bouncing as of last Friday. pure speculation on my part but wondering if anyone had heard of this as well?
  2. If he has a standard H4 housing he can replace them with the LED housings and its all plug and play for starting around $80.
  3. I know the set back CH and the set forward CH had diffrent style headlight buckets ...Are these lights like a old H4 set up where you can remove the housing? I know they make all sorts of different sizes in LED but I dont think they make a size for the set back axle CH as its specific to mack?
  4. I have some of these on the pete I drive https://truxaccessories.com/headlights/4-x-6/4-x-6-super-value-led-headlight I replaced the stock H4 style housigns with these and it was a huge improvement at night. I think the issue you may have is that you will have to go with a bulb replacement only as they might not make these in larger housings? I have seen some visions and Ch macks with aftermarket headlights but cant comment on who makes them. I did my research watching youtube and then went and found the lights at a truck stop.
  5. A v12 will not fit under a R700 Hood. They did put them in RS/RL700L's but they needed cowl extension panels
  6. Well look at that... the big X15 cummins engine again only goes to Volvo models. And volvo tows the line that mack only needs a MP8.
  7. thats why I went to google and left a review. they cant delete them...(as far as I know)
  8. I was just going to say. the under reach is fine for when you are broke down on pavement but when you are just stuck in the dump with sunken axles the tow hooks still need to be used to get the truck back to solid ground
  9. Just a thought...If this mack has the 33.5" frame width (out side to out side of the rails)Cut the stock frame behind the cab leaving the outer rail extending to the nearest crossmember Then find a Cut off with a standard frame width of 34". Take the cut off frame and roll it in over the trucks stock outer rail. weld and or bolt it up with 2 cross members to support the splice . I have the same issue with one of my trucks and will likely get rid of the stock frame and use a single frame cut off that will slip over the stock rails fairly easy. IT will be alot cheaper to do it this way than to put new rails in.
  10. Gearhead204 came thru with the Shift knob for my 12 speed... Thank you .... H even sent it before my check arrived...(USPS is making me look bad) got all my parts now just need to find time to get it in and a drive shaft made up...
  11. My B75 with a 285 has a Driver side starter but it also has a R model style clutch pedal.. I think the clutch pedal is going to be the issue for you?
  12. I know I have seen 2 styles of R model visors. I think both were made by lund. One is squared off like vlad posted the other was a more rounded profile. I think the one posted could be for a mack R as it looks like the roof vent would be in line with the indents of the visor top. ?
  13. I left a review on the google page https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-ab&ei=YPIWWuWKDaS3jwS_zZOABg&q=country+inn+and+suites+New+Centre+Drive%2C+Wilmington+NC&oq=country+inn+and+suites+New+Centre+Drive%2C+Wilmington+NC&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i22i30k1l2.955.2152.0.2922.2.2.0.0.0.0.110.201.1j1.2.0....0...1c.2.64.psy-ab..0.2.200...0.0.kxkqIPcKqyc#lrd=0x89a9f527fc0a4adf:0x8b0f866462471691,1,,,
  14. Same issues in the race parts industry when it comes to electronic parts,ECU, Dash reprogramming... etc.... When we had teams asking us for basic pin out or info on items they bought from us we had nothing but trouble with the European companies. Even their tech reps gave us a hard time. Many times We had to go to the Race car series and get them to demand the release of otherwise basic info for our customers. After all the Series was who made agreements with these MFG parts suppliers and then they tried to back door them by charging for info on them. and even when we got the info it was in German or french and we still had to decipher thru the maze of wording and color codes... Im glad I dont work in that industry anymore as its just become a PITA with everthing.
  15. No, hers are not that big
  16. Here let me help.......its hard to see but I out lined it for you
  17. It likely moves along well because it has no emission crap bolted to it. ?? I don't think military or emergency trucks come with EPA crap on them?
  18. Thats good to know. I thoughtmack went back to the 1970s when many Mack Westerns did not even have tow hooks. My 77 RS700L has a nice factory aluminum bumper but who ever ordered it new speced it with out tow hooks. Not that I ever needed them but still think every truck should have them as standard equipment.
  19. Thats a Pontiac not a Mack (look at the hood badge) Now show us the real prototype for the B model II Concept....We know you have it...!!!
  20. so you cant see them blinking when the headlights are on?
  21. remove bumper to get to tow hooks....How smart is that!!!!! I would first try and tow it with those hood mirrors. if that did not work then I would pull the bumper but thats just me...
  22. Here is another test
  23. There it is....took me a while but I found it......I had to move back from the screen
  24. Correct me if im wrong but the radator cap should release pressure above a set psi. Is the cap failing? Do these new trucks even have a cap on the radiator or is it just on the overflow tanks?
  25. nice find considering its age... keep the pics coming as we dont get to see many of these in solid found condition
