  1. also noticed it had spoke rears in this pic. Jim changed that later so that most likely is Bob with his truck!
  2. thanks for that Al it sure looked good for her day. That is the small Sleeper and looks like the frame was a little shorter as well. Tanks were changed also as it now has larger ones. Jim did say that it had a PTO on it and it looks like that pic shows a wet tank? paint job is the same tho!
  3. You were correct again Rhasler. Got the pump on Thursday and it went in that night. On Sat I re did all the rubber coolant hoses to the Radiator and oil cooler. Thanks again!
  4. I will have to check My stack of mags. Trent.
  5. never seen one with modern ABS. only seen the old style systems from the late 70s
  6. I thought that EPA killed them off because you now have to put a engine that meets emissions for the year of the glider?
  7. yea he was telling me that the speedo stopped at 75 and it was a guessing game after that. He was telling us..... with a big smile on him... about running with some produce haulers thry IL and that at about 90 MPH that 13 speed would got real quiet.
  8. Truck was very cool to see. Jim was very kind to let us truck nuts come see it. I had someone from the east coast Email me last week asking for pics so Rob and I killed 2 birds with one stone. Truck looks good for its age. to me it looks like it was just parked after it was last used 15 years ago. Im not fond of the early R cabs but this truck had some neet options. The dash had some custom touches and the roof had some cool things to make it more liveable. Its a walk in KW sleeper. with its own Heat and AC in the bunk. Engine looked all there. These guys were outlaws! still has the radar detector on the dash! thought that was great!. Jim told us some stories about running with Bob and how Bob was always showing off the power in his new truck. very cool to have met him and his truck tonight. Its for sale so if intrested check his ebay add and give him a ring Trent
  9. Randy Thank you and your son for what you both have done and given for this country. Its a better place because of both of you. Regards Trent
  10. i just heard they were given the green light to blow it,
  11. I hope they shot him in one eye so he could still watch what was about to happen to him and his family...Dirt bags..
  12. Mike your dad was very correct. those small-med locos had to stay hot. In 2008 the English finished building a modern A1 class pacific called the Tornado. but they kept it just like the old ones.. you had to shovel. here is part 4 of a race that top gear did between a train car and bike. the guy in the train was about dead at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7G4TdHFxBk&feature=related
  13. Thanks for adding your info Al. Another piec to this puzzel and more info added. It was good chatting with you today. hope I can make it to South Bend to say hello to you and some of the club members. Trent

  19. these were NOS Mack remans on Ebay...looks like it was sold from a local repair shop? I always support the little guys. Dont shop at the Big box stores unless I cant find it. Lately the dealer prices have came way down. i was abel to get a reman starter for 20 more than a rebuild... this truck is a toy for the moment. I got till the end of the month till I need it again..
