hello guys. how do i remove the steeringwheel and the steeringshaft of the steeringgaer? i want to take the cab of off my parts truck,but first i have to remove the steeringwheel and shaft. going to try with some pullingdevice to pul the wheel of ,but then the shaft has to come ouy somehow. thanks for the help. mack4ever. i don`t know if it`s a B61SX.it has a triple frame that splittet from the rust and the crossmembers are all cracced. i found some emblems pacced in a plastic bag but they are all broken in pieces. but the good thing is it has a steeringwheel,it`s cracced but i`m going to restore it. so maybe i get my white steeringwheel. and maybe i can sell the back of the cab to a guy who has a b61 with a concaved cab and want to make it nomal cab so he has more room for the seats.

it`s in a bad shape. the whole floor is rotted out. there is damage on the right side of the cab and there are some more rustholes. i don`t know what engine is in it. it`s a diesel and it has a rotating feul pump(not an inline) never saw that befor. it has an 20 speed gearbox and an airride seat. and some good interieur parts so that`s why i bought it. and about the hand cranc thing on the trailer,yes it`s to unscouw the axel parts so you can load it.

found some parts for my b61 towtruck. they were not very chaep but i liked them.

the most companies at the daeler i work for run a truck for eighthundred thousend to a mlion kilometers then they buy a new one. we didn`t have to rebiuld a transmision in that time..

we have the same transmisions in the renault trucks here in europe. the only differens is the software. we had no major problems with the transmisions. the only thing was the electronics couse there was to much air presior on the transmision. renault uses a APM to regulate the air of all the components. the APM lets to muth pressure to the transmision and the electronics sees that as an fould. the only transmision we had to chance is the one of a truck they towed without taking the drivechaft of. we din`d have to change cluthdiscs on the automatic transmsions. there are trucks (drivers) who mess up the cluthdisc whitin twenty to fifty thousend miles. so if i had to buy a truck it was a truck with an automatic transmision. mack4ever.

very good looking models. i think they put a lot of work and efford in it. there are not so much modelkits to buy anymore. i`ve got the kits from my r and rw model to build sometime. leon.
