  1. Hmmmmmmmmmmm????
  2. Greetings from the East Coast and Mack Country. Assuming it is a gas engine, you probably have a 707. While parts are starting to become scarce, you can still find them here and there if you know where to look (with the exception of exhaust manifolds- they are really rare due to so many failures.) Have you contacted the Mack Trucks Historical Museum to get a copy of your build file and manuals? If not, they are free (but we do appreciate at donation.) All queries are answered in the order received and normally take 4-6 weeks to answer. Go to this link, fill it out including the SN/VIN and in the comments, ask for copies of anything in the file as well as chassis and engine manuals. https://www.macktruckshistoricalmuseum.org/contact-us/ Good Luck!!
  3. Are you certain it was an 8V71? I don't think there's room in there for a 6V71 let alone an 8 unless someone did some work to the sheet metal.
  4. Does the pump panel have a tach? If so how is that driven?
  5. Well duh....stupid pod things
  6. I have a LOT of leaves from four oak trees but all I have to do is blow them to the curb and the town comes and vacuums them up 3 or 4 times every fall.
  7. That there is an Anniversary-Series Seagrave, old tractor-drawn aerial. (tiller)

  10. If you are still looking for someone to haul it for you, call UNDER DOG Gregg Hoffman (not Other Dog Tommy Blackwell) His number is 610-428-6075 If he does not answer, he is trucking but leave a message and he will call you back during business hours when his hands aren't full of steerin' wheel and shifter.
  11. I volunteer at the museum and vaguely remember something like this when we were moving some large posters around last summer (I think?) Use this link and contact the museum with your description and request. https://www.macktruckshistoricalmuseum.org/contact-us/
  12. NOTE: Not much air!!! No more than 5 or 10 psi at a time! It doesnt take much, Any more and you will blow out seals. Also- you mentioned speaking with Waterous. If you give them the Pump and Transfer Case serial numbers, they will send you manuals and parts break downs FREE OF CHARGE.
  13. INDOORS And if storage falls below freezing, you absolutely, positively MUST MUST MUST winterize the pump. Get yourself an extra discharge cap, set it up in a drill press and drill a 1/2" hole through it, then tap and thread it to accept a threaded nipple. Then a quarter turn valve with a male air chuck. Open ALL discharges, intakes, pump and tank drains. Drive the truck around a few miles to slosh around any standing water. Get back to the shop, close everything. Put your modified cap on a discharge, and open that discharge valve, Hook up an air hose to the chuck, and using the quarter turn valve, let in small amounts of air at a time as you open each and every discharge and intake drain valves. This will push out any remaining standing water. When you are all done, leave every valve and drain open the duration of the winter storage. That way if there is still any standing water in it, it will have a place to go if it freezes and expands.
  14. I'm the good looking one

  20. Yes that's it. You don't have to use the liquid that comes with it- I have had good luck with a spray bottle of water with a few spoonfuls of dish soap. Do it in the shade or when the metal surfaces are cool. Have plenty of microfiber towels handy and beer of course.
  21. Food on site: The Macungie Fire Dept does breakfast sandwiches in the morning and burgers/dogs for lunch. There are also a few other food vendors. Out on Main Street, there is a decent Diner and a pizza place both right across the street from the main entrance.
  22. I used a Maguiar's clay bar on an old firetruck with faded paint like that and then compounded, and finished with a spray ceramic wax...my god it was like new.
