  1. Yes just saw this thread now, however you and the peanut gallery should know that "Lord Four Wheel Drive" already has these pics in his files.........*yawn* Why are the pages sticky?
  2. Call Ed Schumaker at the Mack Trucks Museum, see if they have any vendors on their list of parts suppliers that may be able to help you.
  3. I'm sure anyone who knows small engines knows this- but throwing it out there just in case......If you want ethanol-free gasoline, check this out: www.pure-gas.com
  4. Ken you are correct- lots of it is made in China, but I believe Generac's gen set side is made in Japan, and the engines are Briggs & Stratton. Ken if you are an engineer and want something absolutely bombproof, get full Honda set. They are expensive but the things never quit. Had a buddy bring me a trash pump once- was underwater (dont ask.) All I did was drain the crankcase, refill with oil and pour fresh gas in it, ran it for a few minutes, changed the oil, ran for 2 hours, changed the oil once more and the thing runs fine to this day. Their generators are bombproof too just dont submerge them.
  5. How about FUCKTARDS? Can we say THAT?? ECD I guess it goes without saying to put the word out to every scrap yard in a 100 mile radius...........
  6. Ken, each and every person that I know that has bought a gen from HF has ended up regretting it. So many problems I can't begin to go into them all in detail here. I have at least four friends I can think of off the top of my head that kick themselves in the azz for buying one. If you are going to use it often for chores around the farm, etc....I personally would steer clear of them. I have two friends that are contractors (and two of the four mentioned above) who use their Generac's on an almost daily basis and have nothing but good things to report about them.
  7. Yep check any and all braided/aeroquip lines for internal collapse. Also dump some fuel treatment/algae killer in there, never know what's growing where.
  8. Maybe that thing is air-cooled?
  9. Let's go off-roading and see if you can keep up.............
  10. Recently discovered early photo of Mack engineers road-testing a prototype U-Model on the Mack test track.
  11. yes, grossing 100,000+ !!!!!!!!! Me LIKEY!!!!
  12. Methinks if he had his Superdog he would have made you eat your words!!!!!!
  13. Good luck, finding 900/20's made in the USA is getting harder and harder. I think my FWD has the last set if Goodyears ever made.
  14. gearhead don't mean to pour cold water on you but if you don't land until 1645, getting to the TK by 1900 would be a miracle. Not counting the fact that you are landing in the middle of prime-time rush hour, you have the construction on I476 to deal with.......Realistically you probably won't even clear the airport until 1730"ish" and you are looking at an easy 1.5-2 hour ride to the TK......You might make it but if you do it will be by the skin of your teeth. Doug- count the Yardo family "in." (Me, Missus, plus L, M, S & XS.)
  15. Yes, silly me where the hell is my head?
  16. Ray thanks for helping my buddy with shipping that pumper. As I am sure you saw, they had little to nothing, and to them, getting that CF Pumper was like getting a Space Shuttle after flying paper airplanes for years. And Kudos to East Farmingdale, Long Island for donating it to them.
  17. Can we install a brass pole in your trailer? Or are we still doing that in Ken's set up?
  18. Do you have any idea how much the ribs of a plastic bedliner hurt your back when you are.........uhhhh.........ummmmmmm.....Anyways they just hurt!
  19. This does not apply to Otherdog, Slpwlkr, and a few select other criminals persons. Had this been regarding F.W.D. she wouldn't have commented and would have just started to strip.
  20. It's already been done, lemme see if I can find the pics
  21. Where is Roanoke is that single screw F-Model (at least in the pix it looks like a single screw) is it on a for sale lot????
  22. Uhhhhhhhh perhaps you missed the part about the rod through the block?
  23. Thank you, I just threw up my breakfast. And no reason to ever worry about those gears being razor sharp.
  24. DT466? 6V53? 8.3 Detroit??? in a B-Model Mack????? You all need to be executed by firing squad. Or bitch slapped with the rubber chicken; I cannot decide which. That is all. Carry on.
  25. She does pretty respectably, but now I know why I can only get an average of 14.5mpg around town, but then again my right foot is pretty heavy, especially when on the way home from work which is a 25 mile ride. Just took her down to the Outer Banks and back and set the cruise control at about 67 the whole time and managed an average of 17.8
