  1. Cleaned out the garage today, was getting a bit ratty in there. Want to be able to park the pickup in there when we go on vacation week after next. Look- an F.W.D. and a 4WD!!!
  2. If I saw a cat on top of my classic Vette he would have a .22 sized hole through him somewhere.
  3. The white thing is half dalmatian (or is it dalmartian...or damnatian?) and half Australian shepherd.....His name is dumbass Pokey. The other one is a rescue greyhound, his name is Mikey. His racing name was "Move it along Mikey." He's our second rescue greyhound. They are wonderful dogs by the way- I highly recommend them if you ever want to rescue a dog. They are COUCH POTATOES. But put on your track shoes if they ever get loose or out of the yard. We also have two cats- "Choo Choo" and "Indiana Jones." I'm about as fond of cats as I am of 2-Stroke Detroits. I do like them with General Tso's or Sesame Sauce though.
  4. Took the three stooges (AKA small, medium and large) to see the Budweiser Clydesdales at the Eagle Fire Company (Bucks County Company 46) in New Hope, Pa. last saturday 8/31. Here is a link to my flickr account with the pix. It was hard to get good shots as there were many people. http://www.flickr.com/photos/63695861@N04/sets/72157635403158708/ In the shots you will notice several of an airplane flying around- thats not just any ordinary airplane- thats a genuine B17 "The Memphis Belle" one of the only flying B17's left in existence- it was flying out of an airshow at Northeast Philadelphia Airport. Enjoy!!!
  5. You guys are like school on Christmas Day......NO CLASS!!!!!!
  6. Mack 548- you spelled FDNY wrong. I went to a working fire in W'Boro on that thing many moons ago when I worked at JEVIC Fleet Maintenance in Willingboro. Had a buddy that ran out of their main station and got to know a bunch of the guys there. I stopped in one day to my buddy screaming at me from the jumpseat of the Mack Scope (as they are about to rocket off the ramp) to "GET THE F*CK ON THE RESCUE, ITS A JOB!!!!" So I grabbed a spare set of gear hanging on the wall and got on. Rough ride in the back of that thing!!
  7. J hancock took the words right out of my mouth.
  8. Vincent- have you painted the hood yet? If not, I am BEGGING you........PLEASE for the love of god........break down the tires off the rims, sandblast everything, and prep/paint all the rims the same time you do the hood......It will be a lot of ball-busting work but trust me, it will look soooooo good. Your baby looks good now, don't get me wrong.....But ya desperately need to paint the rims!! and the only way to do that is to break it all down, sandblast and start over!!!
  9. He made an appearance on FB last night in a conversation that Mack W. started- in fact all three Randys were present and accounted for......LOL
  10. I heard this Randy slpwlkr nightstalker guy was a ma-roon.........
  11. When I win the powerball you guys can watch the tail lights of my 1969 429 Boss Mustang.........
  12. Can you post some more pix of it all the way around?? How much for the siren??
  13. Thanks for thinking of me. The power does not look big enough to be a 140 or 145 Wauky (F554G or F817G) I am kind of leaning towards a 501 I/H. Good looking FWD either way.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDGw1MTEe9k A rarely seen home movie of the Kettering Family..........................
  15. So do you deny the fact that there was a Priest on all three shifts at the DD factory, performing excorcisms at the end of the assembly line? And that the excorcisms never worked all the time?
  16. You should email Kenny Snyder, he is an Allentown Buff and Historian. His email address is lti231@verizon.net Tell him Randy Yardumian sent you.
  17. I live in Hellertown, not too far away and have a few friends on the AFD. What do you need to know???
  18. I have driven multiple firetrucks with a 60-Series power and find it an excellent engine for the fire service.....4 stroke power is acceptable in any fashion. If it's 2-stroke and you cannot hold it in your hands or bolt it to the transom of a small boat, it is evil and needs to be excorcised of its demons- and the only way to do this is to melt it down into slag.
  19. Just messin' with ya.......Yer ok in my book as long as you keep saying 2-strokes are Satan's Engines!!!!!!
  20. S H I T.... Mopiles...... Petes.....Powerjokes........I feel like I just found out that the really hot girl at the bar that has been hitting on you has a wee wee......
  21. Power Joke?
  22. You guys are a bunch of dirty old men.
  23. I'm gonna have to ride over to the Mack Plant in Macungie next week and go to the store and get you one of those Mack "INTAKE-EXHAUST" onesies for the little man..!!!! All three of my boys had one!!!!
  24. Well done Mom and Dad!!!! God bless you all, especially the little man.
  25. Anyone located within a 50-75 mile radius of Bethlehem, Pa. have a heavy duty engine stand I could put a 237 or 300 Maxidyne on and rotate? I dont have a ton of money, am using it to teach myself about heavy duty diesel engines, I want to find something big and do a careful, thorough tear-down and inspection and possible rebuild. If you have an extra one laying around gathering dust and you could give it to me or long-term loan I would be grateful. I will come pick up.
