  2. No green to buy green sod with.
  3. If you mean breakdown repairs, no I dont know a thing about that at all.
  4. Tom, thats great! Exactly what I was looking for..Thanx!!!!!.....Ya wanna come over and help??
  5. I dont know a thing about this, so please forgive me. I want to do a makeover some portions of my yard and I will need topsoil. I think they sell it by the yard, yes??? Or is it by the ton? How do I calculate how much I will need? And since we're at it.....Do I lay it out, roll it with the roller and then throw the grass seed and hay/straw, or do I I lay it down, throw the grass seed, roll it with the roller and then put down hay/straw??
  6. It's April 1st you knuckleheads..........How could Oshkosh buy Mack when Oshkosh is in worse financial condition than Mack ever was?????
  7. No one will be able to hear mine after you start yours.........Their eardrums will be ruptured!!!
  8. WTF???? I caught the boobage however you neglected the lovely ladies of Winfall in this series of pictures. (Or were the boobage shots of Winfall ladies?)
  9. Saturday is the auction. Usually high-dollar items such as leather parade hats, presentation speaking trumpets, restored gamewell cabinets, stuff like that. Bring a very very big wad of large bills. OR you can come on Sunday to the flea market with us poor folks.
  10. Hey Carl you have any plans for dinner on Sat night? Hit me up, I could be talked into going to the Tilted Kilt!!!
  11. Just found this on the internet.....just browsing.....no, really...I was......I kinda like it, don't you????
  12. Couldn't agree with you more Paul. "The Thaw" has rapidly been turning into a giant blue-light a t-shirt show for the last 6 or 7 years. The vast majority of these kids today could care less about antique apparatus- if it has a third pedal they treat it like it has some communicable disease. Lately The Thaw has been just a place for me to see old friends I have not seen in a while, and to find good books and yes, occasionally a part or piece of equipment that I need. What part of the building are you in? I am sure I have walked past you before- I will make it a point to stop by and say hello. You wouldn't happen to have a 4.5" floating strainer, would you???
  13. I would. Probably way too expensive. Stick with the folks that do it every day- a trophy shop. Sign maker, maybe. But the trophy guy would be my first choice.
  14. I can't remember what the discussion was about, but a bunch of you hicks were talking farm-boy hick talk, and I had to ask what "silage" was.....LOL
  15. Just shows what you know!! I was born and raised in Philly- so neener neener neener to you!!!! LOL
  16. I hope you have enough room inside your shop, I'd hate to see you park that outside!!!!
  17. In retrospect my comment was out of kilter. My apologies if I offended you or your wife. I think's it's awesome that she did that for you. Mine might consider it but sharing? Wouldn't happen. Enjoy your present!!! Hope to see you at Macungie 2013!!!!
  18. Wow. Some interesting family dynamics there!!! Wonder if I would want to be a fly on the wall eavesdropping at Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner??? 41Chevy: I am really very sorry that this has happened to you. It must break your heart to watch your grandson have gone through this, much less experienced his asshole-ness first hand. Keep your head up and have comfort in knowing that your other grandson is a good kid. And also know that all of us on here have your back anytime you want to come and vent, please do!!!! Best regards, 1958 FWD Randy Y. Hope to see you at Macungie 2013!!!
  19. Looking for info on Toyota Tacomas.......Anyone have a 4-door with a V6/Auto/4WD??? What year, what kind of true mileage do you get, how many miles on it and any major problems???? I love my 2008 Chevy Silervado Z71 (5.3) but this 13-15 mpg shit (depending on how hard my right foot goes down) is killing me. Now that the kids are out of their booster seats (which is why I had to go full size to begin with) I am considering going back down to the smaller pickup....Anyone?? Anyone?? I once owned a 1998 4-Runner and it was the best damn vehicle I ever owned!!! It was a divorce present from wife number one to myself. Wife number two decided to total it with 187,000 miles on it- was just getting broken in!!!!
  20. I love the weathered tires on the R....nice work, wish I had the patience. I have been working on two of the Ertl 1:25th scale American LaFrance kits for about 15 years now...LOL
  21. I doubt it. 41Chevy what does his liberal aunt have to say now? I bet her tail is tucked between her legs......
  22. What can I say, I'm pretty boored tonight............
  23. Sounds like Ken needs a hug. I'm gonna post pix upside down now just to annoy him.
  24. Dont forget to meet at the Watts tent at 12:00. And if anyone brings backpacks, or coolers or anything, and you DONT bring your own truck (hence a place to store your gear) you are welcome to stash your stuff with the F.W.D. with the understanding that I am not responsible. Also you are welcome to bring a folding chair and gather 'round my table under my tent for some shady bullshitting out of the sun.
  25. Be careful!!!! In Pennsylvania you do NOT have to have a CDL for an antique truck that is tagged and titled as an antique and is not acting within commerce. If it is tagged and titled as a common/standard motor vehicle and is being driven/operated for the purposes of transporting goods or services, a CDL is required.
