  1. NO BALLS! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!
  2. Yup, drill em out or cut the nuts with a grinding wheel. I'm kinda surprised Papa didnt have you do that to begin with. You have to remove everything to properly paint the hood Vinnster......
  3. Someone was smart enough not to put a lawnmower engine into a truck chassis.
  4. I dont sleep with any of my ladyfriends either, we just hump savagely and then they take their leave.
  5. One thing you need to remember about converting a fire truck gas engine to a diesel- most gas engines are anywhere from 2600 to 3200 rpm's. Thousands of firetrucks from that era were converted to 671 Detroits, which are 2100 rpm engines- therefore if you want to maintain your top speed now, you will need to convert your drive axle gearing as well. Or you could convert to something like a Cat 3208 which has some 2800rpm road versions, and not lose all that much. You would need to compare the torque and horsepower curves with what you have now to see if it would work. As for the tranny, I suspect that an Allison HT740 would probably bolt right up, but again check before you buy.
  6. This forum is great....Where else could you get outstanding repair advice, and for FREE to boot!!!!!!!
  7. This forum is gonna mess that poor kid's mind up so bad.........
  8. Maybe Vinny sabo-ta-geed it in hopes of it tipping over to avenge all the U-model tipping jokes?
  9. I would really appreciate it if you guys would stop lusting after one of my wives, thanks.
  10. Took these pictures at the grand opening of the new Mack Customer Center/Museum Open House (formerly the R & D Facility in Allentown, Pa.) October of last year.
  11. I am a registered Republican. I believe in the philosophies of the late President Ronald Reagan. However I am NOT a Tea Bagger. I would call myself a "Republican listing slightly to port." I support unions (as long as they are not being unrealistic with their demands I.E. The Teamsters) and being a medically retired firefighter, I fully support Public Employee's rights to their rightly-earned pensions. That being said, I think I will have a very very hard time voting for a man who has continually voted to ship american jobs overseas and furthered any corporation's (who has done that very thing) further tax breaks. But if it means firing Nobama, I'll smash that green "VOTE" button for Romney in November until I break the damn thing.
  12. A dutch oven on the wedding night is acceptable. However a Dirty Sanchez would be a bit tacky.
  13. My house was in Castor Gardens, 7000 blk of Kindred Street, between Princeton and Tyson, near Castor & Cottman. Was trying to get hired onto Philly Fire, but me being a white/male/non-vet and the minority hiring consent decree got in the way of that. Now I live in Hellertown, Pa. in the Lehigh Valley, right near Exit 67 of I-78. Where in S Jersey are you?
  14. Shit and here I thought that they were trying to engineer it to go into a U-Model...... (c'mon you all knew it was coming......)
  15. Yes I am. I am the first person to admit it. I was born and raised in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. within a stones throw of the border with Philadelphia- and then I bought a rowhouse in Philly later in life and lived there for 10+ years.......The only thing I know about a farm is that there are horses, pigs, sheep, pigs and silage on them. Oh and corn, too. LOL........
  16. We had one on our 1978 Hahn firetruck. It was more trouble than it was worth and eventually got the wires cut.
  17. I demand you immediately purchase a better camera,
  18. Florida, also known as the worlds largest retirement home. Only thing I need Florida for is Disney, which we usually go to in October.
  19. Wow I dont know a thing about farming (city boy) other than I like to eat and drink your wares.....But it sounds like you are in some deep doo doo. I hope you get the rain that you need soon Olive.
  20. The 1958 FWD has been spending the last week at the volunteer fire department where it was orginally delivered to brand new (which just happens to be my VFD....) They requested to have it in town for the 4th of July celebration. It's a small town, and the 4th still means something. The whole day is community events, including the parade in the morning and fireworks at night with a whole bunch of stuff in between. I originally said no, as I live about 40 miles away (I'm still a member there though and still do duty time, I usually bunk out in the bunkroom at least 2-3 times a month on overnights....) due to fuel costs. (about 80 bucks to run her down there and back at 3.4MPG SWAG) So they offered me $100 to bring it down, which I did at about 6am last saturday just to beat the heat. I am glad that I did, all of the old timers from the fire company sure appreciated seeing the truck and some even had the opportunity to take her for a spin. Back in the day, one of the community events was to give out fire truck rides to the kids...but stopped about 20 years ago due to liability concerns. So many many members of the community remembered riding on her back when. Today is predicted to be the hottest day of the year here in SE Pennsylvania, so I got u p at 4:30 this morning and drove down to the VFD in my pickup, and hopped in the FWD and brought her back up home (right near exit 67 of I-78.) The VFD is just outside of Philadelphia (Exit 343 of the Pa. Turnpike.) Brought her up Route 309. She ran just fine. I swear the Waukesha gas and the truck have the soul of a road tractor, not a firetruck because she just loves to get out there and RUN. Got back to the house about 7:30. Now that it's 10:30 I just went outside to get the mail and my sweat was sweating. I'm gonna hunker down in the A/C today and catch up on some paperwork. Gonna try a crockpot mexican chicken chili recipe, too (but thats going outside on the deck with an extension cord...lol) Fuck the grass that can wait until tonight after the sun drops below the mountain. I hope anyone who HAS to be out there today stays cool. Drink drink drink drink your water. If you are not pissing a lot you are not drinking enough.
  21. Why do you think Ford stands for "F ucked Over R ebuilt D odge?" come to think of it.......225 slant 6....U models.....I wonder if there were any of the same engineers at both Mack and Mopile...???
  22. no no no.....it's "MOPAR = NO CAR"
  23. I do not know him but godspeed to his family and friends. May the wounds of his loss heal quickly,
