  1. A Brocky would be ok, it's not pedigreed. The R700 I would just have to shake my head at and say "bitch, park that tub of shit out in the street, I dont want oil all over my driveway."
  2. Yes, I dream. I dream of a 23yr old 6' tall redhead, with a perfect body, thighs as smooth as a prom queens, who is wearing nothing but black thigh highs and a matching lacy bra/panty set who is serving me a bacon-wrapped filet mignon, cooked to a perfect meduim, pink on the inside (like her) with a side of mushroom caps and fried onions, and a fluffy baked idaho with some sour cream, chives and butter.....and then for dessert is a piece of reeses peanut butter cup cheesecake, smeared all over the aforementioned waitress......who services my every desire and need as I give her the best 1.3 minutes of her life- and then she leaves after she does the dishes (but hands me a beer first.) Yes, I dream.
  3. why on gods green earth would you want to destroy a perfectly good B-Model with one of those overgrown 2-cycle mechanical asshole lawn-boy wanna be's?
  4. Congrats Olive.....She is a pretty little thing. our youngest just turned one year old last week. Cody is 8yrs, Shane is 7yrs, and Casey is one year. Momma done made me some fine young men. She wants one more, but I said "what- pull the handle on the slot machine again and risk having a girl? NO WAY!!!!" I'm not changing diapers at the age of 40.
  5. I hope that sightliner didnt succomb to the torch.......
  6. Real trucks have two spark plugs. Here's a youtube of my 1958 FWD with the 140GZ Waukesha (F554G in later years.) I have always been kinda partial to Waukys, or "thunder pumpkins" as they were known for their orange color. Many do not know that Wauky is still very much alive and well building mainly LARGE gen set power plants, they were under the name Dresser, however they were recently purchased by G.E. Many Waukys, especially the 145GZ (F817G) were installed in firetrucks, however their track record wasn't exactly the greatest- many tanked after a few years. I found the Waukesha Engine Historical Society online, and spent about an hour on the phone one day with a former engineer. He explained that the mettalurgy in many of those engines was bad, and that the castings down at the bottom of the cylinders where the cyls met the block would go bad, leading to coolant leaking into the crankcase. Mine has a Zenith heated downdraft carb, and as you can see in the video, quite an extensive air cleaner. The video was taken at the Mack Trucks Test Track, and also on Interstate 78 getting on E/B at Lehigh Street heading towards "the wall" of South Mountain just before Route 309. Mack used this stretch of 78 for years to test new stuff.
  7. Length/Width/Height Pete- I was born and raised in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. just a stones throw from the Philadelphia border. Lower Moreland High School. class of 1993.
  8. oh that is just wrong in so many ways........
  9. That didnt take long, have someone asking for the L/W/H. Please provide. From a guy in Bel Air.
  10. In preparation for gastric bypass surgery (which coincidentally is tomorrow) I gave up carbonated beverages over 2 months ago, which I thought would be tough for me, as I never drank coffee in my life. My morning beverage was a 16oz bottle of Coke or Dr. Pepper. It was tough in the very beginning but now I am over it, and have lost close to 30 lbs.
  11. Good to hear your Nana is home. Both of mine have passed and I miss them every day. The guys are right, they appreciate your phone calls every night. You sound like a good kid even if your taste in trucks is lopsided.
  12. I just put the word out on my facebook, lets see if we get any bites....
  13. Where are you teaching in Harford County MD? I used to be a FF at APG, know a lot of guys on local VFD's down there, might be able to help you find a place.
  14. Hopefully I'll remember this year!!!! All you Mack guys need someone in the pic with good taste in trucks to classy up the pic a bit.....
  15. I'll be there, you can't miss me, I have the only F.W.D. firetruck, and for that matter usually the only F.W.D. truck period.
  16. The deceased is the father of my neighbor's sons best friend. They are both Juniors at Saucon Valley High School.
  17. The A-Car is Springtown VFC, Bucks County Company 40.
  18. Matt if your department follows NFPA guidelines, NFPA does not allow apparatus 20 years or older. In fact it requires rigs 15 years to go into "reserve" status and then out of service completely at 20. This is why many organizations pick and choose which guidelines to follow.
  19. Unfortunately this situation has turned fatal. Looks like the dumptruck plowed a car across the intersection and into the firehouse. They didnt even find it until an hour or two ago, well into overhaul. Google map 1995 Leithsville Road in zip 18055. Thats the address for the firehouse which will have the pin. The truck came down Flint Hill Road, which is an 8% grade for... 1+ mile. Rumor has it that he was saying he turned into the firehouse to avoid the residential structure, which you can see directly across the intersection, next to the firehouse (exposure D.) Mike, I dont know about the B. I know they had another CF pumper which went upstate somewhere, and now a friend of mine owns it. Bulldog- I agree. Dont think sprinklers would have helped. It should be mentioned that this company and the Se-Wy-Co fire company (Northampton County Company 18) are almost completely merged.
  20. Video: http://statter911.co...roys-firehouse/ Today, at approx. 1250pm, a tri-axle dump truck fully loaded with asphalt crashed through the front of the Leithsville Fire Company (Northampton County, Lower Saucon Township, Pa.) and triggered a massive fire that destroyed the fire station and 5 pieces of apparatus. The station, which is located at 1995 Leithsville Road (Route 412, in between 611 and I-78) is at the intersection with Flint Hill Road. If you google the address (use zip code 18055) you will see that it appears the driver of the dump came down Flint Hill Road (which is an 8% grade for over 1 mile) lost the brakes somehow and probably swerved to avoid the apartment building immediately at the bottom, choosing to plow the firehouse instead. The driver of the dump was transported to St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, with severe burns. No one was in the fire station at the time. In the video, the two bays of the fire station on the right appear to be vacant- the dump truck pushed the engine company and the heavy rescue back into the back of the firehouse. The heavy rescue was probably totalled even before it stopped moving. At 2:16 you can what is left of the new (less than a year old) Harvester/Fouts Brothers 3000 gallon tank truck- you can make out the front bumper and the federal Q mechanical siren, These guys are second due to my home- they are a good bunch, keep them in your thoughts. Posted the video because I thought everyone would enjoy Lower Saucon Fire Co's CF Telesqurt 'doin the deed. The maxidyne sounds pretty despite the circumstances.
  21. Leece-Neville is usually a pretty good product, we have their alternators on our firetrucks as per our specs.
  22. He's probably asking Poppy "whats stinkyfinger?" or "why are the guys telling me to roll a fat girl in flour and look for the wet spot?"
  23. Yes, go to the Tilted Kilt instead.....The ladies there are all sweet and innocent and are working their way through nun school.
  24. you guys are all a bad influence on me.........
