I was going to use these guys to do the clutch I mentioned earlier- found them on the internet. Called out there and talked to someone, dont remember who, but they were super nice, and when they told me the price along with shipping, it would have cost me more to ship round trip that the cost of doing the clutch. So I asked the guy about someone closer to me, and he suggested D & W. I appreciate the fact that they were honest and even went as far to suggest a good vendor closer to me.

My wife's family is hungarian (the country, not the mental/physical sensation) and I get this kind of stuff force-fed to me at most major holidays- Halumpkies (the cabbage leaves stuffed with ground beef/rice/onions with seasonings) and cooked in a tomato-based sauce is my favorite. My father in law also makes stuffed peppers in the same pot of sauce, so the flavor from the peppers gets into the sauce and it is awesome. Pierogies are also a family favorite, potato/cheese fried with onions in lard, served with sour cream on the side.....mmmmmmmmm

Hey George, if you ever call out to FWD/Seagrave for info/factory files on your truck, you will be connected to a woman named Molly in the parts department. She is a cranky old carmudgeon of a bitch. I envision her as a 300 pound load who has to sit on 2 desk chairs and any attempt to get her off of them (and the four doughnuts out of her mouth); like a request for her to pull your factory file will only result in her becoming annoyed that she has to drag her fat ass off of those two chairs. But I could be wrong, I am stereotyping but thats what she sounds like on the phone. She will give you any and all excuses to get you to stop bothering her and removing her from more important work (presumably studying menus from local take-out places for todays lunch order.....) Her greatest ploy which she has pulled on several people that I know will be to tell you she needs the factory sales order number- because thats how the files are stored. I happen to know for a fact that is wrong. She will also tell you that you have to send in $75.00 before she will pull the file- yes FWD/Seagrave does advertise a $75 cost for your file, but I am told that they will tell you first what is in it before they will reproduce it- which she will not tell you- she tells you that you have to send the money before she pulls the file- even if the only thing in your file is moths and dust. YES!!!! THIS IS THE PLACE THAT DID MINE!!!! All I had to do was drop it off at their Wilmington, De. shop and they did the rest. If I remember right it was $350 to fully rebuild/balance a 15" single plate Lipe-Brown Clutch. I highly recommend them.

I see you are in Bangor Pa. I am down here in Hellertown- I had great luck with a place in Baltimore for the Lipe-Brown cluch in my 1958 FWD. I cant remember the name of the place for the life of me though- but I do remember they had a place in Wilmington, Delaware which is where they had me drop it off at and pick it up, and they trucked to and from their shop in Baltimore which is where they do the actual work. Really nice folks, very knowledgeable. I will look up their name in my book out in the garage later tonight or tomorrow and get back to you. I probably wrote down the phone number too.

I support Sheriff Joe and Arizona's immigration laws and illegal alien policies......I fully support the US Military and think our Sailors, Soldiers and Marines need raises and better living conditions on Military Installations. We need a Military equal to that of 1985 staffing/capabilities/levels, I would love to dig up Ronald Reagan's body and clone his DNA and get him back in office. Seems to me like the Country was in a lot better condition when he was in charge.
