  1. Post pictures of loose equipment please. I will take a peek, if I see anything that piques my curiosity I will call you.
  2. Post some pictures of the loose equipment and the L Model and post them here please.
  3. From what I see on his Facebook he's a busy man
  4. It was cool to meet you Larry. I think something happened to Large though when he sat in the car- he started talking about dragsters.....and in the pictures, he had some kind of evil grin on his face. We may have created a monster letting him sit in there!!!
  5. What a fantastic show!! My first time!! I had to work the part time job doing some electrical inspections in Harrisburg, and planned on coming down after that so Large made the trip with me. We did 17 inspections in Hbg, and then headed down to Lititz around 1230, but as it turns out my inspections list had a bunch of addressed in Lititz including right there on Brunnerville Road, so we hit those two and parked at the show, walked around and swapped lies I mean talked to everyone including Ron, Doug, Ken and got to meet the famous notorious Larry "Freightrain." What a cool guy! Let Large sit in the dragster!!! I think Large may have had something bite him because he was talking about the dragster on the way home!!!
  6. You can get new and rebuild kits from Wagner through NAPA. Take the wheel cylinder to NAPA and drop it on the counter. DO NOT TELL THEM WHAT IT IS OFF OF. Drop it on the counter and say "I need two of these or rebuild kits." Any parts man worth his weight will pick it up and cross reference the casting number, if you were to tell 75% of parts guys these days that it is from a Mack, they will go into vapor lock.
  7. I may or may not make an appearance. I have scored a part time job inspecting electrical meters that PP & L is replacing throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania, and I will be in the area on Saturday working, but I get paid per inspection so I need to get the numbers in before I can screw off. If I can get them in I may grace everyone with my presence LOL
  8. if memory serves me correctly this was for sale not long ago
  9. Where in Maryland are you? Can you take some pics of the equipment??
  10. They made it to the Hellertown Truck Stop. Last time he was here, it was winter and there was too much salt on the roads- so the FWD didn't leave the garage.
  11. The bleeding hearts can make all the feel-good laws that they want to. They can pass legislation from now until the end of time. But no matter what they do, the weapons are out there and readily available on the black market to whomever wants them. In the end, all the feel-good laws will only affect one group of persons: those of us who are law-abiding and legal gun owners. For those of you hell-bent on passing gun control legislation in the interest of protecting people: More Americans are killed annually in drunken driving accidents than intentional and unintentional weapons discharges *combined* When may I expect your demands to outlaw automobiles or alcohol?
  12. God I'd love to have that.
  13. Even though he does not come on here very often, I wanted to let everyone know and extend my congrats to Slpwlkr, who made his ladyfriend Kimberly an honest woman yesterday. NoClueJoe was one of the groomsmen and cleaned up surprisingly well!!!! They will be honeymooning out east later this week and I hope to see the newlyweds here at the Hellertown Truckstop for dinner one night.
  14. Well? What is it? A River or an Ocean?
  15. May be interested in any firefighting equipment.
  16. Kind of like an F.W.D. with a Waukesha (extended hood) engine.
  17. This is one of my favorite episodes. And I don't know if it's ever been on TV but he also has a late 30's or 40's Seagrave pumper which has a modified hosebed- it drops hydraulically and is a motorcycle carrier.
  18. Did you obtain the factory file from the Museum? There *may* be a wiring diagram in there. Cool truck, cool story. If you are still located in the Reading area you should bring that to Roger Gearhart's show in October and to the Mack Trucks Museum TRUCKTOBERFEST on October 21.
  19. Whats that A-Car in the background???? You holding out on us??
  20. Usually. Not always. And when equipped with dual distributors, they could either both run off the generator/alternator or switch to magneto in the event of electrical system loss. Usually, not always.
  21. Why did you not stop and obtain the builder's information and serial numbers from that firetruck?
  22. 2-3 years ago, we already posted it much to the delight disgust of Otherdog.
  23. It's either that or go to the next interchange which is a few more miles down the road. Standard operating procedure here. I don't have to like it but I do have to follow it. I have voiced my opinion several times and have suggested dispatching mutual aid companies coming from that direction but it is dismissed every time I bring it up.
