  1. 1. Have you obtained the factory file from the Mack Museum? As well as you have documented the history of this truck, you NEED to have copies of the factory file. If you private message me the serial number, I can try to get you the file sometime in the not-too-distant future. (I volunteer at the Mack Museum.) There will more than likely be a 6-8 week wait for the file unless I get one of the archivists to teach me how to find, pull and reproduce files (which I have asked to be taught how to do.) The only thing we ask is for a donation to the museum as we absorb the cost of the reproduction of materials (paper, photocopier maintenance, etc...) and we also send copies of pertinent parts and engine/transmission manuals as well as your serial number specific factory file. 2. I am sure this has been considered but I would feel guilty not mentioning it- has anyone taken the increased lower-end torque of the replacement diesel engine and any potential effect on the rear axle? Sure would hate to see you spin that thing apart or twist the driveshaft. 3. You are a good ways away but you may enjoy bringing the truck (or even just coming by car) to the Mack Trucks Museum "Trucktoberfest 2017" held on October 21 at the Museum in Allentown, Pa.
  2. Not enough information to help. Need mileage, hours, engine, trans, pump and tank size, maintenance records, has the aerial been certified recently??? How about the ground ladders- certified? Pump certified? How about the body- where is the rot? How much?
  3. No. But there are camel toes at the Tilted Kilt
  4. "Hasidic" Jews.
  5. Yup I concur with S4.....Very high probability of a catastrophic failure somewhere. Hope you have big pockets filled with lots of green pieces of paper with "100" printed on them.
  6. 39babymack? Doug Maney?
  7. How would you know? Horse-Drawn carriages didn't need chains.............
  8. Tues/Weds/Thurs here. Our babysitter was ready to go batshit crazy- she usually only has Extra Small during the day. Instead she had XS, S, M and L all day all three days.
  9. pssst.....hey ed......STFU!
  10. About 14" here in the Bethlehem/Allentown area. Was supposed to get 18-24" but we had the *FUN!* of it changing over to rain and sleet a few times, which layered itself into the snow, and anyone who did not have shoveling done by nightfall on Tuesday (ended here around 4pm) the snow all turned into concrete and it became impossible to shovel or blow. Could only be pushed or broken apart and then shoveled. I went outside 3 times, once around 7am, again around 12 and finally at 4 and did all the sidewalks and neighbors places. Thank god.... Penndot really dropped the ball with keeping Route 412 open from the Bucks County/Northampton County line through Hellertown. There was 2-3" of hard packed ice and snow and it was like driving on some ancient dirt road. But 412 from the interchange at Interstate 78 to the Sands Casino was clean all the way down to the asphalt. Gotta get those bus loads of people from New York City into that Casino!!!!
  11. Heh. Screw you, Detroit Diesel!!!!
  12. The only thing I may like better than volunteering at the Mack Museum!!
  13. If you happen to receive this, and can get me the truck serial number prior to 0800 tomorrow morning (3/11/17)I offer no promises, but I **MAY** be able to tell you what engine was originally installed. But I need that before 8am tomorrow, and you may not ask any questions as to how I obtain the info.
  14. 6-8 week wait time.
  15. Pa Turnpike Bridge to reopen........ http://www.burlingtoncountytimes.com/news/local/delaware-river-turnpike-bridge-to-reopen-thursday-night/article_f8fbbec5-bc65-56d4-a4ff-3ed663fa1bae.html
  16. I do not know of anyone that has a delivery or other database of model AP fire apparatus. As Brocky stated, you are welcome to use the following link to contact the Mack Trucks Museum in Allentown Pa which has the build documents archived. http://www.macktrucks.com/about-mack/museum/contact-us/ All inquiries take approx 6-8 weeks due to the amount of requests and the limited staff to process requests. It is also requested that you send a proper donation as the museum does have limited funding from Corporate and they expend a lot of time and money to process requests (photocopier maintenance, paper, shipping etc.)
  17. Wow never saw a local delivery oil *trailer* before
  18. WOW!!!!!!!

  20. Did you contact the Mack Trucks Historical Museum for copies of the factory archives? You may luck out and find that the file has delivery photos.
