  1. Did you contact the Mack Trucks Historical Museum for copies of the factory archives? You may luck out and find that the file has delivery photos.
  2. Stop with the drugs
  3. They confiscated everything, even the stuff we didn't steal! They took the bar! THE WHOLE FUCKING BAR!
  4. This forum reminds me of Delta House sometimes.
  5. For those of you who did not know Gus (I did not know him) He was killed in a salt pile collapse at the bulk offloading site down on the Delaware River in Bristol Pa. back in January 2014 during that major salt shortage on the east coast due to all the storms.
  6. Does it matter?
  7. You need to decide if you want to insure it as an antique. **IF** you go that route, the three biggest names in antique insurance are Gulfway, Condon and Skelly and JC Taylor. I had C & S for several years and left them when they up and changed underwriters without notifying me which irritated me. Never had problems with them but that was a huge issue in my eyes. Went to JC Taylor about 10 years ago, excellent people providing excellent, timely and efficient service. I did recently hear a rumor that they are no longer accepting new "big truck" customers when a buddy tried to get his firetruck insured by them. A lot of guys in here also have Gulfway and are very happy.
  8. Have you checked with the Mack Store at the Customer Center and Museum in Allentown?
  9. Get him some scrapple, he loves it!!!!
  10. Get that crack fixed, Mister!

  15. Guess the State of California should have spent some of that 25 billion they spent on illegal aliens on some infrastructure maintenance and repairs instead.............
  16. I am pretty sure he and I had a lengthy conversation at Macungie about 10 years ago. He was admiring the FWD and commented that he had acquired an FWD plow truck, but living down south they were not common trucks and he had never seen an FWD Firetruck. He was a super nice guy.
  17. Is that the guy that drives the blue mini-mack? By the way you got accepted as a member of the Lehigh Valley Chapter this past Saturday. I tried to warn them but no one ever listens to me.
  18. Never heard of em?
  19. Thirteen total. 12 engines and one mid-mount stick.
  20. Tommy, should I show the meatloaf that I made for the kids last week??

  22. Mike, see if you can get someone to load Google "Chrome" into your computer for you. It is a free web browser and the new upgrade here seems to run MUCH better on it than Internet Explorer and other browsers.
  23. Carl, it's now in 1901 that all computers must be programmed not to go into limp mode or regen while in pump gear. Whether that made it into older ECU controlled rigs I don't know
  24. He comes up on Facebook once in a while
  25. Some of you may have heard by now that the Pa Turnpike Bridge that crosses the Delaware River and connect the Pa Turnpike and the NJ Turnpike had to close 2 weeks ago due to a crack in a main structural support member. It was hoped that inspections of all of the main structural members (this is no little pissant bridge, either.....) Was to have been done by today and that the Pa/NJ Turnpike Commissions would announce the bridge re-opening. It was just announced today that the bridge will remain CLOSED to all traffic for at least 8 more weeks, if not longer. So if you use the Pa Turnpike to get to NJ or vice-versa, you can't get there from here. Plan accordingly. And you should consider a wide detour- like Interstate 78 or 80 to the North or the Delaware Memorial Bridge to the south- because the 44,000 vehicles that use the bridge daily are crossing the bridges in Trenton and Philly.
