  1. No mention at all of the Winfall Hot Sauce or the ED Ackell Trucking fine china that we promote here at the Hellertown Truck Stop?
  2. I am on my second set of Goodyear Wrangler AT/S on my 1500 Silverado. I do a LOT of highway miles plus the snows of the mid-atlantic region and a lot of construction sites. The last set I got around 45,000 and if history repeats this set should do about the same. I am happy with them.
  3. You misspelled F.W.D.
  4. Proby or Junior firemen and Mother's Mag aluminum polish
  5. I have a truck that puts out fires.
  6. Fire Engines are red, thank you.
  7. True story- Back in 2001, I was freshly divorced with some cash from a settlement and a whole lotta overtime in my pocket (why be at the house, it was empty?) and I wanted an S-Model that a buddy had.....Two problems- the POS under the hood, and the fact that it was worth more than I had to spend. I knew my buddy would have sold it to me for what I had, but I didnt want to do that. So I said screwit. Few weeks later, same buddy called me to tell me about the FWD being for sale.
  8. you mean *other* than it's a piece of shit?
  9. Just talked to my boss. My contribution will only go up $4.20 per paycheck, (8% of his 15% increase.)
  10. I work for a small company- about 35 employees. Got a 5% raise 2 weeks ago, Now I know why. Anyone wanna take a bet that I get a letter from my employer come December sometime that he's going to have to start deducting more for my health care plan?
  11. Ron do you want me to come over and rub your feet?
  12. I may or may not be there. If you see the 58 FWD or the 78 Hahn (or both) be sure to introduce yourself!
  13. Oct 29th
  14. Baloney. Which number did you call and who did you speak to? Calling Hale anymore is like calling AutoZone or O'Reilly Auto Parts- if the kid behind the counter can't look it up in the computer, he won't pull a book out and do it. Also try Supplee Brothers in Oreland, Pa. Ask for Daniel or Billy. If you get the machine leave a detailed message, someone will call you back.
  15. You mean like this?
  16. This is my *EXTREMELY RARE* Mack Model Z Firetruck, made special at Mack's Clintonville, Wisconsin Plant...Model Z's are also known as "Northern" or "Clintonville" Macks. Think it has a chance of getting in the calendar?
  17. Hmmmm......I guess I need to warm up my photochoppage machine.........
  18. She came straight from work. You're lucky she looked as good as she did that night...LOL
  19. It's been relatively uneventful lately. I saw a big Mack firetruck at a 9-11 Memorial Service. It has a 50' "telesqurt" on top of it, made by the Snorkel Company. Mack would make the chassis, ship it to Snorkel to have the aerial device installed, then back to Mack to have the body fabricated. Then I saw these Crown Buses north of Philadelphia. If you know much about Crown, you know that one on the east coast is rare, let alone two of them. One had some kinda pancake thing painted alpine green. I didn't pay much attention to it. The other one had a pancake Cummins. They both had 10-speed Fullers. Max total size 24.41MB Insert other media Uploaded Images Then I saw this 1923 Model T Ford. It was pretty. I saw a billboard, it was for some kind of fantasy movie, or Science-Fiction, I'm not sure which. My Volunteer Fire Department celebrated 100 years of service and this past Saturday Night we had a big old fancy dinner at a local country club. They asked me to bring the FWD and park it at the front door so that everyone could get their pictures taken with it. As I was driving over, I saw some girl hitchhiking and even though I was a little late I fell sorry for her so I stopped and picked her up. Since she was dressed real nice and all, I asked if she had any dinner plans and she didn't, so I said "hey this is your lucky night, I am going to allow you to be my date for this dinner dance thing I am going to." She was so impressed she could hardly refuse and immediately kissed my ring. Here's a better picture of the hitchhiker- she kind of looks like Meryl Streep. Sort of. Kind of. Either way she is all kinds of hot, don't you think? And when the night was over, I saw the FWD parked next to it's Grandson at the fire station as my house is 40+ miles away and I didn't wanna drive it back up that far at 1130 at night. Besides the hitchhiker had other ideas as for what I was gonna do for the rest of the night.
  20. When is the John Haines IV show this year????? 39babymack? Doug Maney?
  21. My friends from Australia that were just here couldn't get enough of our bacon and sausage....Said that it was way better than theirs, especially the bacon. Oh, and for Otherdog- they enjoyed the scrapple with some buttermilk pancakes and syrup!
  22. I bet you'd have a stroke if I showed up....LOL.......of course I wouldn't be empty-handed.......
