  1. In the interest of pissing off those out there that swear two stroke mechanical assholes are the second coming of Christ- I absolutely, completely, wholly and totally endorse the blowing up of anything painted alpine green. The only good Detroit is one with a hole through the side of the block. As for the rat rod- it's his money, he can do what he wants with it. If guys didn't want that done to old trucks, they should have gotten their wallets out when it was for sale.
  2. Back in 2002 when I was a federal firefighter, the bosses asked for volunteers to do a stand by for a Presidential visit/helicopter landing. They had to fight off the volunteers with swords. It was pandemonium in the Assistant Chief's Office. Fast forward to last year......They had to *order* guys to attend and apply forced overtime.
  3. I just read an article that was on the facebooks yesterday- I went back and tried to find it but I am a failure. Anyway, the article discussed the current state of politics under the woke progressive liberals and how many corporations and celebrities (the article quoted several who wished to remain anonymous) that the woken idiots have dropped an atmosphere of fear among everyone in Hollywood and the corporate world. The general feeling is "You are either with us, or against us" and that remaining silent is not an option, either. You may not be Switzerland- "Silence is Violence." Chew on that for a while and get sick to your stomach.
  4. We went to Hooters one day of our Honeymoon for lunch.

  6. I concur ex firetruck but may not necessarily have been a front mount pump, could have been an extended bumper for tool or hoseline storage.
  7. I had to take off my socks and shoes
  8. I count 34
  9. WTF? Where are the pictures of the nurses in the Dr's Office?
  10. You could also try Matt Pfahl, Rusty Dog Restorations in Bethlehem, Conneticuit
  11. For those of you who have Waterous pumps on your Mack firetrucks, you may or may not know this (Waterous does not actively advertise it) If you need operation or parts manuals for either your transfer case or pump itself, Waterous will send them to you free of charge. Just contact Waterous's Customer Service number and have the pump and xfer case serial numbers handy. That is all. Carry on.

  14. What are you looking for
  15. Speaking of V8 Therapy.......Our new firetruck has an X15 605hp (73,000lb ladder truck) when it is in lower RPM's going up a hill, it has that pop pop pop pop pop sounds like an E9 or a 3408. Makes me moist.
  16. No thanks, I'll pass.....You sent me a package a few years back and it has cost me money ever since......especially summertime weekends! 😄
  17. I only have one question- Is the rock that your face fell on OK?
  18. Maybe take it to a hydraulic cylinder shop and see if they can rebuild it?
  19. That arsehole got his schooling at Desales University, about 3 miles from my house........😐
  20. The Mack Museum had all the archives but I am pretty sure they were recently shipped up to the Brockway guys in Cortland.
  21. You wear Khakis, not start the car with them!
  22. There was a guy at Macungie and 5 or 6 years in a row he would ask me to sell him the F.W.D. Firetruck. Every year I would explain the sentimental value of it and that I would never get rid of it as long as my body was able to maintain life. He would always say "C'mon, I'll give you $10,000 cash right now, I just have to transfer the money!" Finally after the 5th or 6th time I finally told him to FO. I guess that got through because I never heard from him since.
  23. F&%K. That. S&@t.
  24. That looks like something that Underdog would do
  25. I concur. Paul and I were in regular contact there for a while. He was building a model of a US Navy Apache-Class oceangoing tug for me to give to my father. We chit chatted regularly about anything and everything and he would ask me for various pics of my father's ship but then the comms stopped. Nothing. Nadda. Nichts. Nein. Zero. Zilch. Very not like him. I regret never having gotten his phone number or home address, I tried to find both so I could at least maybe speak to a family member.
