  9. Once again. If I have told you guys once, I have told you 654,918 times.......You can paint a turd any color you want. You can polish and wax the turd as many times as you like and make it shinier than a bar of silver. You can spray the turd with the most expensive French perfume. This does not change anything. It is still a turd. Here endeth the lesson.
  10. Wow I never would have imagined that an F.W.D. is FWD that's pretty weird. I was wondering if it had a Wauky. Would have been interested in engine parts if it was a Wauky, also cab glass and other misc pieces if you weren't interested. If you do wind up parting it out I might be interested in the 4x4 xfer case, the axles and possibly the hydrovac booster. Maybe the tranny if it's a Clark over-and-up overdrive 5 speed. Don't have a lot of money though, might be willing to sell my body. Would be keeping them "just in case."
  11. Mike are these yours? Will you part out the FWD? Specs on the FWD?
  12. I wouldn't put it past Medium to kick his arse and steal the Winfall Wimmin.
  13. Come to think of it he has not been on the fazebooks for a while either.....I just messaged him and told him we issued a BOLO for him.
  14. Carl Ziamatic did make lights but I don't think that far back. AFAIK they came into the scene in the 1970's. Could be wrong though. They are located in our back yard in Bucks County, Pa.
  15. Are they Mack? If they are in good shape, would be of extreme value to anyone who needs them for a Hayward restoration.
  16. Stonco?
  17. Obviously you are confused. We're discussing Detroits here.
  18. He has a very hard time pressing down on the clutch though.....
  19. You need to get a hold of Mike Martinelli, E290L103@aol.com
  20. So "Medium" (age 9, soon to be 10) comes up to me at the beginning of the game and says "Hey Dad, what are we gonna do if the Patriots win?" I kinda shrug my shoulder and say "I dunno, what CAN we do?" He pauses for a minute and then says ....."Start a bar fight?" I blame gearhead, Hatcity, Otherdog, Freighttrain, 41Chevy, Mike69Mackman, Slpwlkr and JT for this.
  21. mmmmmmmmmm future prime rib....mmmmmmmmmmm
  22. I would have been shoveling sand into the intake
  23. Ever see the episode of mythbusters where they take a "J" size oxygen tank and turn it into a torpedo? Sheared the valve off and put it right through a block wall. '
  24. I have his phone number if you wanna give him a yell
  25. If this is what I think it was, it was a BLEVE- "Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion" which are very violent and destructive. In the fire service we jokingly refer to them as "Blast Leveling Everything Very Effectively" or "Big Loud Explosion Very Exciting." Basically what it is, is a vessel, with a fire surrounding it that is intense enough to heat up the liquid inside and boil it to the point where it gives off vapors- which of course pressurize the vessel if confined (no relief valve or malfunctioning valve) the vapors expand to the point where they cause the vessel to suffer a catastrophic failure, hence the big loud explosion with destructive power. The carbon fiber tank had nothing to do with it. Gearhead I dont know about out there, but here on this side of the world we have been using carbon fiber or fiberglass wrapped aluminum SCBA tanks for well over 15 years. That tank could have been made from cast iron or 1/4" thick stainless steel, it's still going to succumb to physics under the right conditions.
