    An all-original Hayward.........If it is as in good condition as in the pictures and has been as well maintained as the guy says it is.....I say at LEAST $8K. Keep the Daytons. An original Hayward is rare enough, but a Hayward with Daytons is a special kind of rare.

    Posting this for my father: A friend who does not do computers at all but does do antique busses (especially school busses) and one fire truck is looking for a part. His fire truck is built on a 1946 Brockway chassis. It has a 42BX Continental gas engine and a 5-speed Fuller transmission 5A3305P. He is unable to identify the clutch make and model. He needs a clutch fork. The fork has the number "2772" cast into it. My guess is that the fork is also a vendor part and not unique to Brockway. Any out there?

    Actually a better way for you to get there would be I476 to I78, get off at exit 67, drop ramps and allow a stowaway onto your flatbed, then out I78 to 81/83 south..............

    Huh?? LOL just kidding. However the others are right- there is some kind of nuance with this forum's software that does not get along with IE; not only with the quote function but also for picture uploading, etc. It works fine with Chrome. (everything works better when you chrome it........)

    No offense but why would you want to go backwards? If you swap it's usually a gasoline engine to an oil burner, not the other way around. And yes, there is an extremely high possibility that you will not only have to swap the clutch and transmission, but the rear as well. The driveline right now is set up for a max engine speed of 2100 (+/-) RPM's plus the higher torque of the oil burner.

    Couldnt afford lube oil and the workmans comp claims for the hearing loss, smashed fingers, and lung problems due to exhaust exposure.

    SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE.......... It's a great fucking feeling when your belly doesn't rub the steering wheel anymore, aint it??? When driving the FWD, I could never wear any light-colored shirts before I lost weight- there would be a dark mark from the wheel. Well done my friend!!! Keep going and get in the gym, dammit!!!!

I can also get him to autograph them for you. Let me speak to him and see what he says; I am certain he would do it if he is able to get them.
