  1. Maybe call Sheppard, they're in York, Pa. I needed a rebuild kit one time and called them direct, they were pretty helpful.
  2. It says "Gentleman's Club." That disqualifies 87% of the membership here.
  3. A pretty girl smiled at me. A few hours later I had her drooling all over me. I saw a greyhound, I thought he was dead. I love a good cup of coffee in the morning
  4. If the damage is done, the damage is done- all the "Mack-recommended additives" in the world aren't going to help you. Drive it around for an hour and get it heated up. Drain it thoroughly (overnight!!) and refill with fresh 80W/90 gear oil. Then run it for 1000 miles, monitor it carefully for water in the course of the 1000 miles. Then take a sample and send off to a lab. See what they say.
  5. Pay attention to it and run it for 1000 miles, then send a sample out to be analyzed.
  6. NICE! Love the rollback!!!
  7. Hmmmmmm we could get Ortlieb's instead????
  8. Wait a minute here fellas........He's relegating us to the house in central Pa while he basks on the beach in Duck, North Carolina? Granted it isn't the true Outer Banks (the purists among us know that the TRUE OBX don't start until Hattaras Island.....but thats a different thread....) but he is still basking on a beach.....while he expects us to deal with the horse poo and other central Pa odors.......I say we all just load up a few cases of Schlitz and a couple of bags of peanuts and head for Duck.....It's not THAT big of a town, shouldn't be all that hard to find a black mopile..........
  9. Diesel- what is it, and do you need for it to be hauled? Is it able to be driven? You could ask my father, he might drive it back for you for air fare/expenses plus some kind of payment. He is an I/C who moves brand new and demonstrator firetrucks for a firetruck manufacturer in Breda, Iowa. He lives in Huntingdon Valley. If you want his contact info let me know. I dont think he would want to bobtail across the whole country however- he did enough of that in his days as an owner/operator working for a trailer broker...LOL
  10. No way, I am trashing it- we're still peeling remnants of pizza and other food off the ceiling of my place after you bungholes had your fun here.
  11. if it smells like fish, tastes like chicken and looks like a taco.......................
  12. you could try mack mhe9 but I don't think he makes West Coast runs that often.
  13. See mack mhe9's recent photos of Camden, New Jersey. The blackened tuna I suggested tastes and smells better.
  14. Bah. That's not the real OBX. The REAL OBX starts on the south side of the Oregon Inlet Bridge- it's called Hattaras Island!!! You gonna take the ferry over to Ocracoke this year?? if you do, stop at Howard's Pub for lunch and get the blackened Cajun tuna sammich!!!!
  15. Where to down there Mike?
  16. If you send your VIN to Don Shumaker at the Mack Museum, and ask for copies of your factory file plus manuals, you will get them. Be advised there is an 8-10 week wait due to numerous requests plus limited (volunteer!) staff. Also, make sure you send a nice donation check. Dont be cheap, the box you will get in the mail is pretty heavy.
  17. Mack. FWD. It's all the same when you're the tree or bush.
  18. Wow I remember going to the housing parade for either this or the R-Model Tanker and their new (at the time) CF Mack with a Pierce Body......Which I understand to be the first Pierce body mounted onto a CF.....I think I have a ceramic mug somewhere from the parade.
  19. The check is in the mail.
