  1. I asked a expert bloke about a similar problem once the things he told me were engine mounts broken springs on the clutch plate crook uni's flywheel cracks and Im sure other things as well but these were the most common he thought Paul
  2. with all these problems with new and almost new trucks I would be going old school the old coolpower Macks are cheap to buy and cheap to run I know it's not the answer you are chasing but I feel you could buy 7 old R models fix everything that needs fixing on them and they would still be cheaper than just one new truck and if you keep them looking shmick the drivers will like driving them cheaper to run easier to fix no need to plug a laptop into them can get parts anywhere Paul

  6. yep I dont run cabs for cost of fresh set of treads is not much more than a fresh set of caps and the damage caps do when they let go more than out ways the extra cost of fresh treads for me The old fellas out here used to buy tyres twelve months ahead and store them under there house to let them cure looks good when we have fresh treads on till we take them thru the mud lol Paul

  9. the back lid on top of transmission depending on how it has been set up it will have either one air regulator or two the pistons and O rings can be changed with out pulling the lid off on mine I can get the lid off mine just with out dropping the transmission or lifting the cab I have gotta pull the floor out of the cab to do this and huge amount of swearing follows and skinned knuckles Paul

  11. maybe the air regulator is not set right for that side or the air ram o rings are leaking to much air unscrew the the air hoses on top of the lid and squirt some CRC or WD 40 Paul
  12. I would ask how they hanging but I can see there hanging nice and straight except when your going quick lol

  14. got another one the other week in a Aussie magazine that comes out every couple of months credit to whom ever it belongs to clickty click on it a few times to make it bigger seeya Paul
  15. no clutch flick the switch and on and on off the go pedal it should slip right in maybe a air pressure issue or maybe some gunk on the shaft if the truck hasnt been driven a lot foor some time
  16. well the rest of the story 84 Super dog wanted some Mack parts that you can only get from Mack Australia and I chucked them in the mail to him and he chucked this back in the mail to me That to me on its own means so much it tells me that no matter what crazy stuff is going on in the world and there seems to be heaps these days 99% of us are just average blokes trying to get along and enjoy life no matter what corner of the earth we come from thanks Ryan So everyone KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE seeya Paul

  21. well Tim I finally got the ok from peanut company from the soil tests to plant them today 3 and half weeks after they got the soil today has been a day of surprises thats for sure Paul

I went to town and on the spur of the moment bought a new to me R model and started pulling doubles with it straight away runs like a dream quiet as a mouse she's tuned well rolls no coal some silly bugger put the steering wheel in the wrong side LOL Thanks for the new ride 84 superdog I'll let you tell the rest of the story if you want to she goes like a rocket broom broom lol thanks mate Paul
