  1. there's a place in Brisbane that can tell you all of that stuff I dont no who they are but your local Mack dealer can give you there number they are the people to call when you wanna get a Mack or White re rated in Australia they have all the specs and can tell you what has to be changed to get the bigger rating then once done you take it your local dealer they view and confirm the changes give you a letter then mail it off its that simple Paul

They were certainly that for sure but they did make a lot of people a lot of money in their day as Ken says a good honest worker they were used as interstate trucks and all hard to believe today but that was the way it was back then even in the early eightys a lot of interstate trucks didnt have sleepers on them just slept as best as you could and no one new any better Good job on that one Ken Paul

Ron I would be surprised if there wasnt a shortage of most workers as I feel most kiwi's are over here or at least a whole heap of them are I think the US is the only country were there has to be a proven need before you can get a Visa I dont think the people from south of the border care to much about that though Paul

Thanks Paul I dont know were find all of this information yep as what was said above the B61 only it's mother could love it to put that much effort in and thats the result reminds me a bit of the Ford Edsel they put a huge amount of effort in and the end result was well how should I put it "NOT PETTY" The F 715 looks like a Scamell Crusader cab from the UK with a bit different grill How we going kv are we getting closer to answering your question ?? How high can things be in the US in Australia its 4.5 meters with out a permit I never worried about permits once until one day a bench that the farmer wanted me shift with his bean harvester fell off the back of the truck and landed on the bonnet of the car behind me I was over weight , over width over 16 feet wide, and over height over 16 feet high as well no permits no pilot vehicle's I could now see how easy things can pear shape so the next time into the Police station fill out the paper work 10 minutes later walked out all legal no cost dont know why I didnt do it before The green cab over is that a F or a FR most built in Australia were built on a R model chassis hence the FR designation Paul

Welcome kvtrucker I have never heard of a Mack plant in Europe but saying that I would be very surprised if there wasnt as the Eroupean Macks look to be a lot different specced than the US ones If there was a plant I would feel it would be in Holland or Germany There's a lot more smarter people on here that could give you the answers Im sure You might have to go back thru some old truck magazines of the day and do some research I would figure if Macks were sold in Europe there had to be dealers and if some of dealers are around they might be able to point you in the right direction good luck with it all and I'll watch this space and learn seeya Paul

Chamberlain Cane Lander tractor ??? front axle has suspension Cane Landers are easy to tell apart from a normal Chamberlain becaus the steering wheel is in the middle and they have larger wheels all other Chamberlians had a bench seat and you could fit the whole family on if it was a small family like mine one of the last bench seat models before the sedan aeries started the most commonly known high speed Chamberlain was Tailend charlie Made in Welshpool Western Australia http://www.tailendcharliethetractor.org/Tail%20End%20Charlie%20History%201957.html Paul
