  2. I was gonna tick "like this" BUT I dont like it one bit, its a bloody disgrace the thousands of men and woman that gave their lives and gave up the best years of their lives so that we could live the way we do and the powers that be dont have balls or respect to stop and remember oh it makes my blood boil Paul
  3. those old petrol six's were a copy of a chev blue flame six only built to metric equivlents and bolts were tough and simple had to do with after the war and the US helping to get them going again Japan took the ball and ran with it thats for sure Paul
  4. yeah they werent a bad bomb in there day commonly known as the beached whale model due to there body shape fat mudguards and flares had no full floating back axle so were not as tough as a Land Cruiser of the day and the overdrive was a bolt on to the back of the main box and gave trouble if towing big loads but all in all were a pretty good little buggy Ford re badged them as Mavericks Nissan sold Ford utes as Nissan's Holden's were sold as Toyota we all got a bit mixed up back then badge engineering we used to call it Paul
  5. that might be cool but I'd rather something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTyHQ_8nW0Q you all can have a laugh but we are all a bit of a laugh over here Paul

  8. can you buy a glider kit from Australia ??????? I have no idea if you can or cant donno about a electronic E9 ?? never heard of one or seen one but that dont mean much though !!! if it was me I would just buy a R 700 V8 or a Super liner it will hold its value a lot better than a new truck but thats just me Mack Townsville local Mack dealer emailed me the other day wondering if I would be interested in a new Superliner 685 HP M10 Mack 12 speed Mdrive what ever the heck that is ?? only rated at 70 ton will increase to 105 for road train work must only cart half a load on the last trailer ?? has a sleeper dont want one of them and is white cancelled order on of 4 cancelled no good to me anyway Paul
  9. Ive said it before and I'll say it again dont you blokes carry a chain help a mate out steady steady even pulling a triple road train with a triple a air hose between steady steady yeah your over 300 feet long but you get there and it only takes time a lot of blokes used to carry a towing pole cant run each others bum then sure cheaper than tow truck I guess I come from a different part of the world Paul
  10. hope all is going great I would sure like to get there myself one day good luck with that wifi doodad Paul
  11. In a short answer yes because Im assuming you have Mack diffs the power divider in a Mack diff is not like one in a normal truck as in there are not a third differential you might have to take 2 new tyres of the front axle and put them on the back axle on the opposite side to the ones on the front axle and it counter it out Paul
  12. So is delivery included ? sounds like a good deal to me Paul
  13. dunno depends on what part of the world to when its night time If I can help I will
  14. you have crook ground connection by the sound of it can you check if you still have power at the switch ? OH yeah welcome Paul
  15. Im liking this idea 4 feet of chassis gives a extra 7 feet of tray which would give you a maximum tray length of between 18 - 20 feet all of sudden your starting to get something a little bit useful for not a big heap of cash could then maybe make it into a beaver tail or tilt tray easier for getting your cars or car on and off Paul
  16. look at all them bolts around them back hubs 44's have 6 58's have 8 wonder what size has 10 ??????? I aint never seen ten before Paul

  22. Yep nuns pi$$ more likely to be "green hand grenades (VB) or barbed wire (XXXX) or once the night gets going we might get paid a visit from the bear ( Bundaberg Rum ) right then down to the reason you blokes drive on the wrong side of the road in the good old US of A is because back when the horseless carriage was first around all you blokes had was dirt roads in towns and when you drove down the road on the same side as us but when you stopped to get out you pulled over to the wrong side of the road to get out so you stepped out with out stepping in the mud so pretty soon you silly buggers were all driving on the wrong side of the road but there was a problem you yanks kept on getting into accidents pulling out into traffic as roads had improved you all just started putting the steering wheel on the other side so pretty soon you driving on the wrong side steering from the wrong side but it all seemed normal until WW2 at least thats the way it was told to me on a TV show once I do stand to corrected on all this Paul
  23. do you no why you lot drive on the wrong side of the road ?
  24. mate for that kind of money you cant go wrong I would think main thing to watch out for is rust in the cab and chassis if its double rail good luck Paul
