  3. Bugger me, no good at all I always always always get thongs completely finished to a certain stage before stopping, my memory is not good enough to remember minor things so I have learnt by my own mistakes to finish things to point before stopping Yeah I know that makes no sense at all but I know what I mean lol Paul
  4. I would think the weights should be pretty close Someone smarter than me will know for sure I would hunt around a bit more for the correct piston I don't really think mixing up parts like this on the rotating assembly is a good idea Just keep on looking for the correct piston is my advice Paul
  5. Could also measure the front and rear sides as well I feel all four measurements should be the same Paul
  6. Well that would of added some excitement to the day I wonder if the truck needs a bit of a drive to settle in That been said you could easily run a tape measure at the top of the wheels and at the bottom and the measurements should be equal Paul
  7. Looks the goods to me I can't imagine anyone having a wooden tilt tray in Australia I doubt a wooden tray has been used on a heavy truck in Australia in the last 20 or 30 years Steel is normal now on everything these days Tray looks really neat and tidy, you've gotta be proud of the result Paul

  10. Mech, I'm getting concerned about these hairy chested Aussie shelias mentioned earlier Now you mention trans and drag, perhaps Crocodile Dundee was onto it years ago when he checked the tackle before chatting up a bird 🤔 Paul
  11. Thanks Brocky, I'll do some digging around and see what I can learn Paul
  12. A different P word came to my mind Joey We've spun this topic off into the ditch Paul
  13. Australian Macks are a bit different than Yanky ones, a little more hairy chested and less Tesla like lol Australian trucks sit higher and have more exposed none slippery stuff like gay mirrors on the bonnet that all U.S. trucks seem to have Even the Anthem doesn't have all gay pride crap that the U.S. ones appear to have Paul
  14. Base model Superliner has the MP 10 as standard
  15. The blasting cabinet really is a good thing, I bought one some time ago and promptly modified it Better lightning is a must and Ill change the crappy perspex screen for a laminated glass screen I think next They really do help clean things up I also bought a small one on wheels and it really hooks right in My son got me onto a big ass compressor from where he works It's 2500 km away but I figure it's a good excuse to go for a drive and say hello Paul
  16. Looks really neat Joey It takes a lot to get them looking good but well worth it Paul
  17. Looking good Joey Paul
  18. Yes it should, they are wired this way from new Paul
  19. Bob thats a add for Castrol oil from ywars gone by Dunmo if the Castrol brand is in the U.S. but it's fairly well respected in Australia Paul

  21. Welcome to the dog house RUFF RUFF RUFF Paul
  22. I gather when you say your screwing the boards down you mean a nut and bolt type of screw not a self tapper I remember my first attempt at a wooden tray Air dried timber, cut the center board custom for a neat fit and bought another center board for when the wood shrank further Just nailed it in place It all dried and I closed up the gabs and fitted my spare center board Screwed it all down First lot of rain it saw, the boards all swelled up and popped out everywhere Had to wait for it all to dry again to jack all the warped timber back into place Nut and blots this time When carting cattle the boards would swell right up tight and sort of buldged here and there but worked fine and no further issues A few rookie mistakes were made by me there Paul
